Rising Stars: Meet Laura Sailer of Toledo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Laura Sailer.

Hi Laura, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I am primarily a music teacher. I used to teach lessons after school as a second source of income, but stopped after my kids were born. Then, I realized it was stressing me out to teach more after teaching all day. I needed something that came naturally to me and relieved stress. For me, that is organizing, and the OCD Company was born!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It is a struggle starting a business in general. You have to be used to being in the red with expenses until money starts to come in. Also, advertising works to drum up interest but does not always lead to a new job or client.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I have been a music teacher for 16 years. As am organizer, I specialize in homes and offices. I am most proud that I have gotten rave reviews on the completion of jobs. My main characteristic is I always go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction!

What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I like best about our city is that while it is a fairly large one, it still has a small town feel.
