Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Our story began in 2018 with a camera and a passion for storytelling. My husband and I volunteered for a youth organization, creating daily recap videos for their summer camp. We filmed everything – the fun, the friendships, the unforgettable moments – and edited it into a highlight reel to share that same evening. It was fast-paced, challenging, and taught us how to think on our feet and craft compelling stories in real-time.

That experience led to something unexpected: our first wedding. What started as a favor for a friend quickly grew into a passion. One wedding led to three, and each year brought more opportunities to capture love stories. As we continued working together, we refined our skills with every project, turning a small passion into a thriving business.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all – but the challenges have helped us grow. In the beginning, we taught ourselves everything, from video editing to storyboarding, spending hundreds of hours refining our craft. Each project was a learning experience, and we poured all our energy into improving.

When we started doing weddings, we took on every opportunity we could. While this helped us gain experience, it also created backlogs and long nights as we worked to deliver the best for our clients.

Those early struggles taught us a lot about time management and how to balance our passion with the demands of running a business. Looking back, we’re grateful for the lessons, as they’ve shaped the way we approach every project today.
