Rising Stars: Meet Ariana Brown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ariana Brown. 

Ariana, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Well, I’m 24 years old. I was born and raised in Chicago. I come from a lot; my mom moved us to the burbs cause so much was going on; then we moved to Houston been there ever since I’ve always had a voice to sing. I had this talent all my life but was afraid to use it I auditioned for Americas got talent, American idol twice and also the voice, I finally got the courage to show my talent to the world and show them what I can do so I can do something I am passion about. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been a smooth road, not too bad. I had a lot of No’s, but those No’s turned into yes, and I’m proud of myself 

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Well, I’ve been a teacher for 7 years. I’m originally a singer/model I feel like what sets me to be different from other singers is that I wanna bring old RNB back I love the 90s era, I want people to feel me and what I’m saying I wanna reach the audience who listens and understands me. With modeling, I’m very creative on my ideas with photoshoots; I want to be different from others as much as possible. 

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc.?
I love TikTok and YouTube I get to watch others sing and see how much hard work and dedication and see people like me I love seeing other singers do what they love; it only makes me better to go after my dreams.
