Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Jamison.
Hi Tiffany, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my business after working in the marketing industry for 15 years. Challenge, flexibility, and a new adventure were all factors, but I really wanted to work with my own book of clients and provide them marketing services on my own terms. I was tired of creating plans that leveraged every tactic, trend, and anything in between just to end up with a large retainer and 20-person team that many times would be expanding resources on something that could be simplified. It’s not a one size fits all.
Brands don’t need to participate with all the tactics, channels, and all the “things”, they need just the right things. I have worked for some amazing national brands such as Goodyear, Kimberly-Clark, and Panasonic, I wanted to take this experience and go down my own path. I have found myself working with national brands such as BIKE Athletic, but also working with startups such as Empowered Sports & Fitness, Leaf Home and Blooms, and AvertD.
I enjoy working with a variety of industries that have a variety of budgets, goals, and issues to solve.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The transition has been amazing. My agency limits itself on projects so that we can give our full attention to the projects on deck. We take our time with research and development and fully support our clients’ needs throughout the entire process.
What allows us to stand apart from competition is you can survive and continue growth without us. I want to provide a go-to-market strategy that can be implemented in part by the brand. This approach allows your team to evolve their skills, be efficient with marketing costs and tap into my team when needed. We run things on more of a partnership, my team creates and guides the strategy, while the client’s team leads parts of implementation. We all work together. Sure, we have some amazing retainer clients and it’s a great fit, but not every brand will need to have Jamison Communications on full-time, all the time.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Jamison Communications?
Once we develop a strategy, you can grow without us. We are efficient with a client’s budget and create a strategic plan that leverages the brand’s existing, talented team. If they don’t have someone to lead implementation, we fill that void.
We specialize in marketing strategy, graphic design, website development, social media marketing, and content development.
Jamison Communications is known for being a full-service marketing agency that does most things in-house. We have a known reputation for going above and beyond what is asked of us. Our client relationships are like no other. When a client’s project is finished, we’re always checking in, following along and offering advice and guidance and we are always here to answer questions. Our client’s success is the main motivator for both them and us.
I am beyond proud of building my agency on my own and during a pandemic! I am also proud to continue to stand by my mission that we guide brands and clients to do what is best for their brand. Our strategy and tactics provide clients with an ROI. We are focused on building a plan that makes sense and targets the market strategically and efficiently. Our main focus is not how to bill the biggest retainer we can bill.
I want readers to know that you can see success when working with a contractor or agency that is outside of your zip code. I am Akron Ohio based and work with clients in New York, California, Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, Boston, all over Ohio, and also Canada. I bring brand and big retail experience to everything I do. It is ok to work with a girl from Akron, you won’t be disappointed!
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love the network. Professionally I feel that people are always willing to connect and also refer prospects and clients to someone that is the best for them.
