Paolo, A MODERN JEWELER, was formed by a group of design professionals in 1993. The successful Classic/Modern studio, has been located in the historic Gaslight/Clifton business district in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, for 30 years. Specializing in Italian classic/modern jewelry design, including platinum, 18k colored gold, diamond, pearl and gemstone jewelry, as well as a beautiful Estate Jewelry Collection!

Designer Paolo Salamone is supported by Master Jewelers Ezio Oliverio & Richard Lapthorn, Studio Manager Bret Workman, Consigliere Alisander Schmid.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Paolo’s Classic Modern designs, while heavily influenced by the ITALIAN TRADITIONALISTS on staff, are often inspired by several younger designers/jewelers, some graduates of the University of Cincinnati. Keeping the modern design esthetic current with new trends… Paolo has won recognition as one of the premier private jewelers in the region and was awarded the prestigious “BEST OF CITY” CINCINNATI MAGAZINE. Nationally Paolo was ranked as the Top Ten Jewelers with Great Character in 2016, by INSTORE/INDESIGN magazine!.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
We actually love the diversity of our beautiful city Cincinnati Ohio, is a great midsize city located in the incredible United States of America. There’s nothing we can think of that we dislike about Cincinnati!
