Meet Latasha Henry of Discovered Beauties

Today we’d like to introduce you to Latasha Henry. 

Hi Latasha, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started out exclusively baking cakes at home for my family… Although they were tasty, I didn’t care for how they would sink in lol. One day I decided to try my hand at baking a cheesecake, it was good, but not great. After several months of baking and tweaking my recipe, the day had come. Boom! This is it and soon to be one year later Discovered Beauties LLC has been providing delicious desserts to a variety of people and establishments. 

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been smooth. Learning all that goes into starting a small business and making sure that everything falls within guidelines. Connecting with the right people for guidance and getting my small business name out there.

Discovered Beauties LLC is a small independent home bakery located in Cincinnati Ohio that specializes in NY-style baked cheesecakes and cheesecake bites. What sets me apart from others is that no cheesecake or cheesecake bites are identical, each one is a discovered beauty. Brand wise I am most proud of recommendations from customers to their family and friends. The Discovered Beauties LLC name is getting out there and being recognized for delicious desserts. Discovered Beauties not only offer cheesecakes and cheesecake bites but a variety of desserts ranging from miniature cheesecakes, jumbo stuffed cookies, dessert jars, dessert nachos, and tacos. Operation hours are Mon. – Fri. 4:30pm-9:30pm and Saturday 10am-6pm, closed on Sundays. 

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
