Meet Kenyanna Stewart of Canton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenyanna Stewart.

Hi Kenyanna, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey into life and mindset coaching didn’t begin with a perfect plan—it began in the middle of pressure.

A few years ago, my husband and I moved to a new city, about an hour outside of Cleveland, in what was supposed to be a fresh start. New environment, new jobs, new energy—it felt like everything was finally aligning. But not long after that transition, my husband suffered a serious injury, breaking his leg and becoming temporarily dependent on me for daily care.

What was meant to be a season of elevation quickly turned into a season of responsibility, stress, and emotional overwhelm.

I remember sitting in my car one day, crying, listening to “I Won’t Complain” by Donnie McClurkin, trying to process everything I was feeling. In that moment, I wasn’t strong—I was stretched. But that’s also where something shifted.

I felt a deep pull in my spirit: create the space you need.

So I did.

I went upstairs, grabbed a notebook, and began writing out the vision for a women’s empowerment community—a space where women could come together weekly to be real about their struggles, speak life over their goals, hold each other accountable, and grow in a safe, supportive sisterhood.

I shared the idea… and over 10 women immediately said yes.

What started as a simple idea turned into consistent weekly meetings that lasted for several months. The impact was undeniable. Women were opening up, growing, and encouraging one another—and I was too. I kept hearing the same thing over and over again: “You’re meant to do this.”

That was my confirmation.

From there, I made the decision to invest in myself and my calling by enrolling in an ICF-accredited life coaching program, where I spent six months becoming certified as a life and mindset coach.

Today, I serve women—specifically Black women rooted in faith—who are ready to break free from mental and emotional barriers that have kept them stuck in cycles. These are women who know they want more out of life and are ready to do the inner work required to align their habits, mindset, and faith with the life they desire.

At the heart of my work is a faith-based, holistic approach to transformation. I believe growth isn’t just about what you do—it’s about who you become while doing it.

Through my women’s empowerment community, I’ve created a space where women can start that journey together. We gather through weekly “Rooted Thursdays: Sister-to-Sister” sessions, prayer, and community-centered events designed to uplift, connect, and pour into one another.

My mission is to break the belief that Black women have to carry everything alone. Strength should not require isolation. Healing should not happen in silence.

In addition to the community, my coaching work focuses on helping women close the gap between who they are and who they desire to be. I guide them in turning their faith into daily action—because transformation doesn’t come from intention alone, it comes from consistent alignment.

Right now, I’m in a building season—growing my community, increasing engagement, and expanding my reach so I can serve more women on a deeper level. I’m also focused on connecting with aligned clients who are ready to invest in their growth and truly commit to becoming the woman they know they’re called to be.

This isn’t just a business for me—it’s purpose work. And I’m committed to showing up for it, consistently and wholeheartedly.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road for me but I am firm believer that every challenge is a learning experience and opportunity for growth. Like I mentioned before, getting through my husband’s injury in the midst of new job, new city, new routines and everything was very hard for me. Other challenges that I faced were not always receiving the expected outcomes, results or support that I had hoped for when planning and creating different initiatives. It taught me that its not about the outcomes, its more about the obedience and still showing up for what God has placed on my heart, So even when I am the only one in the room, it’s still worth it and it still matters.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a Life and Mindset Coach for women in faith, and the founder of a faith-based women’s empowerment community centered on healing, growth, and accountability.

My work focuses on helping women break free from the mental and emotional barriers that keep them stuck in cycles—whether that’s overthinking, fear, self-doubt, or inconsistency. I specialize in helping women align their faith with their daily habits so they can move from simply desiring a different life to actually creating it.

What I’m known for is creating safe, real, and transformative spaces for women. Through my community initiatives like “Rooted Thursdays: Sister-to-Sister,” I bring women together to have honest conversations, be poured into, and be held accountable in a way that feels supportive—not judgmental. My approach is both spiritual and practical. I don’t just motivate women—I help them build the structure, mindset, and discipline needed to sustain real change.

What I’m most proud of is the impact my work has had on the women I’ve been able to reach so far. From starting with a simple idea during a difficult season of my life, I was able to build a community where women showed up consistently, opened up, and experienced real growth. Seeing women feel less alone, more confident, and more aligned with who they’re called to be—that’s what matters most to me.

What sets me apart is my ability to meet women where they are while still calling them higher. I combine faith, accountability, and real-life application in a way that makes personal growth feel both attainable and sustainable. I’m not just focused on inspiration—I’m focused on transformation. My goal is to help women not only believe in the life they desire, but to become the version of themselves who can maintain it.

I’m currently in a season of expansion—growing my community, deepening my impact, and connecting with women who are truly ready to invest in their growth and do the work required to evolve.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Life is all about taking risk. I believe taking risk and having faith goes hand in hand, when you believe in yourself and believe in God, or some people like to refer to it as “a higher power” working in you and through you. You trust that all things are going to work out for your good and God’s glory. Even if it’s a lesson learned or testimony on how you prevailed and beat the odds. The risk we decide to take in our own lives becomes the stepping stones for the next person.
