Meet Kathleen Casey Proctor of Casey’s Irish Imports

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kathleen Casey Proctor.

Hi Kathleen, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Casey’s Irish Imports, Inc was established in 1988 by our parents Vera and Tom Casey. Both were Irish immigrants hailing from Cong, County Mayo and Connemara, Co Galway. After retirement they fulfilled their life long dream of bringing the treasures of their native homeland of Ireland to Cleveland, Ohio. They settled in Rocky River among 5 Irish Catholic parishes! In 2012 their daughters, Maureen and Kathleen took over the store and have been running it ever since.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Mostly a smooth ride with the exception of Covid where we pivoted and sold items online and curbside pickup. We have blessed with a wonderful staff and generations of loyal customers.
