Meet Jo Peters of The ELITE Movement LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jo Peters.

Hi Jo, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I am an experienced and passionate leader, speaker, coach, transformational trainer, mom, wife, and friend. I am also a Bestselling author of two books in 7 countries. I enjoy helping women to discover how to have it all without doing it all, and in so support them to find the best version of themselves understanding that it’s never about the money, the food, the kids, or the husband, it is instead always about them and the inner work they need to do to be able to live the life of their dreams (That they totally deserve to live).

I am where I am after over 17 years of experience working with Fortune 100 companies like Goodyear & PepsiCo, being the first woman, first Latina, and sometimes even the younger person in the room, after a lot of tears and anger I realized I was (Liek all women) trying to play a game that was not designed for me with rules that were not applicable to me.. aka a game without an end, no matter how much I tried, I was set to FAIL!

So in 2019 I decided to create my own game with my own rules and help other women to do the same! I have coached and trained over 15,000 people on 4 continents and in more than 25 countries. I coach and train women holistically and thanks to my mat and aerial yoga teacher certification, and more than 15 years of well-being experience in living a holistic fulfilled life, I brag to have a unique balance between the practical tools and how to do them and the holistic approach that help you in an integral and whole amazing way!

I moved from Colombia in 2012 to Gadesn Alabama, and transferred with Goodyear Rubber Tire Company, there I met my soul mate, we got married in 2016 and then had our son in 2021 (Pandemic baby Thank you so much) between my family, my business, my marriage, and my hormones (Hello perimenopause) I evolved into an unapologetic unicorn goddess ready to hold the hand of as many women that feel ready to stop trying a game that is broken and discover really how can be done… <b>Actually, it does not have to be hard!</b>

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
absolutely NOT

Discrimination, racism, gender bias, judgment, I am a recovery perfectionist, and faced abusive narcissistic relationships in my family, love relationships, and recently at work.

I suffered PPDA and PPD and depression since I was 14 years old.

Move to the USA with only 2 bags and a twin bed

The biggest struggle was trying to win the “game” and feeling I was not doing it “good enough” when in reality the game was designed for me to fail EVERY single time, as is a game designed by white males for white males

I am known worldwide as the unicorn coach, because I help women to REMEMBER they are not simple horses they are freaking unicorns, and have the magic they need inside to have it all without doing it all.

I am fighting against the BS system that confirms the belief that we are not enough as we already are. I believe that women are worthy and can have it all, no need for compromise. I do this by creating community and group programs that leave women empowered, confident and free to live unapologetically.

My vision is to empower women worldwide to claim their power and finally Have It All, Without Doing It All!
