Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenna Giannios.
Hi Jenna, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
As early as I can remember, my dream was to be a photographer, specifically a photographer for National Geographic. I always had a camera and a passion for taking photos. In high school, I learned all about film photography and then eventually found my way to digital photography. I took a few classes to learn as much as I could about my camera and began photographing professionally in 2016 when I opened A Glimpse of Forever Images.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
While friends and family have been a huge support in growing my business, the pandemic and the obstacles that came along with Covid made business difficult for a couple years. I took it slow and continued to learn from other professionals and really hone in on my own brand and style.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in family + wedding photography. Something that I am proud of is really learning how to capture emotion through a still image. Photographs are meant to document life and something that you can hold on to, look back at, and my goal is to help my clients remember how they felt in that moment.
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you, and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
The pandemic taught me that who you surround yourself with is so important. Learn as much as you can and support others as well.
