Today we’d like to introduce you to Gracie Wyatt.
Gracie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
The summer before I left for college, one of my best friends, Amy, and I decided to paint a couple of doormats for my new apartment. They turned out super cute! So cute, I decided to start selling painted doormats. At that point, I created an Etsy Shop called “ShopMoreMATter”. This shop allowed me to grow my business by participating in local craft shows and online. In the back of my mind, I knew I wanted to expand my shop and create a purpose behind the store. I was in my second year of college and I found myself in a funk. Then, the pandemic hit! I knew I needed to reevaluate my business. At this point, my shop only sold doormats and I felt as if my business did not have a purpose. I wanted to sell items that meant something to me. After many discussions with friends and family, along with a lot of prayer, I redefined the purpose of my business. Although this process was challenging, I constantly reminded myself that the Lord loved me no matter what. Finally, I decided to change my business name to Fully Loved and Free as well as created my own website. (Fullylovedandfree.com) I eventually started selling clothing. Not just any clothing, but clothing that spreads love and positivity. I am praying that clothing purchased through my business will remind you that you are Fully Loved and Free.
We are on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok @fullylovedandfree
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I would say the hardest part was in 2020. I was personally in a funk. My business was also in a funk. I didn’t enjoy painting doormats anymore. I honestly thought about closing my shop because it didn’t bring me happiness. I knew something needed to change. I remember just constantly praying about it. After many conversations with my parents (they are my biggest supporters & role models) and close friends, I decided to rebrand, change my business name to Fully Loved and Free and start fullylovedandfree.com
Rebranding was SO much fun. During that process, I realized I was doing the right thing.
Now, we currently sell clothing that spreads love and positivity.
Fully Loved and Free means that “you are fully loved and it costs nothing to fully love someone”.
We’ve been impressed with Fully Loved and Free, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We currently sell clothing that spreads love and positivity. We are constantly coming out with new collections/products. We are most known for our “Fully Loved and Free” crew necks. I started my business in 2018 (the year I left for college) and I just recently graduated in December. I continued to grow my business while being a full-time college student.
We are planning to add wholesale to our website this year! We did wholesale orders for doormats in the past, but never for clothing. So, this is a huge and exciting step!
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Like I previously mentioned, adding wholesale to our website is a big step! So, Fully Loved and Free will be available in more storefront locations with having the wholesale option!
I have also thought about potentially opening a storefront in a couple of years. (If the timing is right!)
