Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hi! My name is Savannah Rae, aka Saiko Ghoul or “Ghoul Tarot.” I’m a professional witch & spiritual advisor from Toledo Ohio. I’m well known for my TikTok content & the work I do in my community. I mostly read tarot cards, cast spells, & give advice from the spirits. I started this business in 2020 after having my second spiritual awakening. The first being when I was a child around age 11. I’ve always loved anything spooky & dark or forbidden. So my interest in the occult came with my naturally curious mind. I was also very psychic even at a young age. Which also led me to have a curiosity for the spiritual side of things. My mom always said I had “the gift” as most people call it. My second spiritual awakening happened after I met my twin soul and had to face my own shadows. Every day I was being broken down by spirits so I could be reborn into someone much more stable & confident. I’m grateful for that experience because it led me to where I am today.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely was not easy for me especially since I struggle with Autism, PTSD, BPD, & a couple other mental health problems. Aside from autism, my other mental health issues are all trauma related. So you can imagine how hard it is for someone who has been through a plethora of traumatic experiences to be able to function properly without burning out or breaking down. Which is something I still struggle with from time to time. Burnout can be a crazy thing if you’re not being self aware of how you or your environment is affecting you. Aside from all of that I also had to deal with a lot of naysayers. Everyone who thought I was being ridiculous taking a chance to make this path a career. Little did they know there’s a huge market out there for us “witches for hire” as I like to call those of us in this business hahaha. The people who laughed at me are now some of the same people who come to me for advice.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Like I said, I’m mostly known for the work I do in my own community and for my occult related content on TikTok. My specialties include, psychic readings, spellwork, & spirit communication. Most people in my community come to me when they need love, money, or an enemy taken care of (hexes & curses). A lot also come to me and the spirits I work with for advice though too. But it’s mostly fortune telling and spellwork. Sometimes I make the joke that I’m my clients own personal genie hahaha. I’m proud that I can help people bring change and good things to their lives. I feel good when I’m healing & helping others. And witchcraft is a very healing practice when used properly. And I love the close relationships I’ve developed with my clients over the years. Each one of them has a unique story or reason for their need of my services. And I treat each one with the upmost respect and gratitude. That’s something that sets me apart from everyone else. I always go above and beyond for my clients and am always willing to work with them on whatever they may need.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Truth be told, I don’t have it all figured out. No witch or spiritualist does. If us humans were supposed to know everything about everything including the afterlife and the worlds beyond this one, we would have more knowledge about it than we as mankind currently do. And what people don’t realize… it’s that way for a reason. If you already knew for 100% that you’re going to some beautiful magical place after you die and you had nothing to fear or be anxious about, then you’d probably never try at all in this life. You’d ride the rails and be kinda suicidal in a way- because think about it…why spend 70 to 90 something years on earth paying bills or worrying about wars when you could just be a happy spirit? I don’t think anyone would wanna come to earth if they knew what lies ahead of them on this planet of ours haha. And us witches are human too. Even those of us witches who are also psychics don’t have the answers to everything. It’s because we are not supposed to. There’s no fun or lessons to be learned in that. The universe knows what it’s doing. And witchcraft is something that is never truly perfected. It’s a craft and a practice, so there’s always more to learn and discover. No matter how much you study, or for how many years, you’ll never know every detail and every single thing and topic within the occult sciences and witchcraft. There’s simply so much to learn and new discoveries are being made almost daily. You can be an expert in a field, but there will always be more to learn. Just like with medicine or science.
