Meet Eryn Gilson of Wildbloom Creative

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eryn Gilson.

Eryn, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My story really begins with 614Mom. I started it when my second son was born, mostly as a creative outlet and a way to connect with other moms in Columbus. I have always loved small businesses, the unique finds, the local shops, and the people behind them. Through 614Mom, I got to highlight those businesses, share their events, and tell their stories. It opened my eyes to how much heart goes into every small business and deepened my passion for helping them grow.

Over time, I realized that the things I naturally loved like marketing, social media, website design, and creative strategy could make a real difference for small business owners. That blend of creativity and strategy turned into Wildbloom Creative, a mindful marketing and design studio that helps brands grow with intention. We focus on delivering high quality results and genuine support in ways that feel approachable and aligned for small businesses.

As Wildbloom grew, so did my family. I am a mom of four, and flexibility has become just as important to me as fulfillment. I wanted to build a business that allowed me to work with purpose and be present in my life. Our recent rebrand has brought new life and energy into everything we do. This past year we have been refining our process, clarifying our offers, and creating some really fun projects behind the scenes. We are heading into the new year with so much excitement, ready to launch things we have been pouring our hearts into.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t always been smooth. Balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship has been one of my biggest challenges. I love what I do, and I also love being a mom, but those two worlds are constantly overlapping. I have learned to give myself grace, to be fully present where I am, and to remember that flexibility is a gift. I am so grateful that my work allows me to be there for my kids and still build something that lights me up.

Another big lesson has been learning to slow down and trust my intuition. It’s easy to get caught up in what everyone else is doing or what success is “supposed” to look like, but I’ve learned that I get to define what success means for me. Building a business takes grit, and there will always be seasons that feel messy or uncertain. The key is to stay connected to the bigger picture.

There are days when it feels hard, but when I step back and see what we are building, it feels exactly right. You have to love the purpose behind what you are creating because that’s what carries you through the hard moments. You get to create the business that fits your life, your values, and your vision of success.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Wildbloom Creative is a mindful marketing studio that helps small businesses grow through brand strategy, social media, content creation, and website design. We also offer one-on-one mindful marketing coaching, where we help business owners slow down, find clarity, and build a strategy that actually feels good to follow.

What truly sets us apart is our heart for small businesses. I love working with people who are deeply passionate about what they do. We believe in building long-term relationships, not one-time projects. Our clients trust us with work that means so much to them, and that trust is something we value deeply. Their success feels personal to us, and we love celebrating their wins right alongside them.

I think what I’m most proud of is how genuine our work feels. We bring a mix of strategy, creativity, and heart to everything we do. We’re not just about making things look good — we’re about helping people build something that lasts, something that feels true to who they are. Wildbloom is all about connection, purpose, and creating meaningful growth.
