Meet Dontez Rash of Resistix Training

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dontez Rash.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My name is Dontez Rash, I am 24 and an entrepreneur from Cleveland, Ohio. I grew up in the inner city right on Quincy. While growing up, athletics has always been a part of my life from attending multiple Muny All-Star games to winning the state championship at Benedictine in 2014. Since I played well, I generally had the idea to potentially make it to the NFL. Through tribulations, I was finally able to get a scholarship for football to Slippery Rock University, where I began exploring more of what the world had for me. There I began to become more health conscious with the way I was living and eating. 6 years ago at that university is where I officially made the decision to go vegan. After going vegan, things in my life started to change. I became more disciplined in what I wanted out of life. In 2019 I decided to take a year away from school to focus on business and a life outside of athletics.

That same year I started Elevation Vs Existence (EvE), which is an informational guide to help achieve self-mastery.

As I grew my clientele and expanded more with the use of social media, I was then asked to become the vice president and head trainer of a fitness device and brand called Resistix Training ™.

Resistix Training ™ is a new, mechanically advanced strength and conditioning system specifically designed to increase strength in the upper body. This training system entails a vast selection of specifically designed exercises and can be used by beginners up to advanced athletes.

Over the last 2 years since 2020, we have patented and trademarked 2 devices and the word “Resistix”, with over thousands of units sold globally.

Our plan today is to have Resistix ™ in every gym or fitness center in the near future. This device has the potential to strengthen any user from children to the elderly which makes it a great useful tool to have everywhere!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road to becoming a successful entrepreneur isn’t an easy one.

There have been many copycats and imitators who have tried to steal our ideas but we are fully protected. There are individuals who will portray themselves as being a part of the team but don’t have the business’s best interest in mind.

Through trials and tribulations, we have built a team of individuals who are dedicated to seeing this through.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Resistix™ is a world-class fitness tool that is easy to use and is a user-friendly workout for all! Using the science of bilateral tension & specialized resistance bands specifically designed to increase strength in the upper body. Like all resistance exercise devices, the Resistix works by creating and releasing tension with elastic bands.

Unlike any resistance device, the Resistix allows the user to create and maintain tension while creating torsion with the body. This device also allows users to create and maintain tension with different muscle groups that, normally do not work together!

So maybe we end by discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is being healthy and active. The ability to move freely and feel good about the body you’re in makes life exciting. Being able to have new experiences and get to meet new people encourages me to always strive to achieve greatness.
