Meet Candis Johnson of Standing Ovation Cleaning Company

Today we’d like to introduce you to Candis Johnson. 

Hi Candis, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I became a small business owner originally in order to assist the community and bring financial awareness and literacy. I felt an urgent need for people to have a better understanding about personal credit, a credit score, and how it impacts their day-to-day life. After doing so, I then saw a need and urgency for residential and commercial cleaning, so I figure I would be able to make an impact on the community and fill the gap of unemployment. I want to educate the public more of an awareness of sanitation, the spread of disease, cleanliness, and safer practices of personal hygiene to prevent the spread of airborne bacteria. This is a passion that became a business for me. I also became a business to help and assist employees become a business owner of a cleaning company and support their vision. To change the norm of living paycheck to paycheck. I want became a business owner to provide free child care while working in order for employees to have 1 less out-of-pocket expense, and be able to educate employees on financial literacy. I became a small business to leave a legacy for my daughter and generations to come. There’s no better feeling than knowing you’re able to help multiple people change the genre of what an employer vs an employee looks like. Changing the focus of being a “boss” and turning it into leadership. Helping with personal and professional growth in order to excel in your goals and dreams. 

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The life of entrepreneurship has not been easy but I definitely wasn’t expecting it to be lol. Some of the struggles I’ve faced in the beginning were “where do I start”, having balance with my personal and professional life, Customers not paying their invoicing bills, not paying on time, capital, and few other bumps in the road such as balancing my personal emotions to not intertwine with business when things don’t go as planned. I learned to seek help, rather it be from my mentors, or it be with an organization that deals with helping small business owners. 

As you know, we’re big fans of Standing Ovation Cleaning Company LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We solve a problem with services that assist in preventing the spread of infectious disease such as blood-borne and airborne pathogens, which is a hub for viral and bacterial infectious disease. We also assist with preventing top surface germs, bacteria, and disease. We are continuously educating the public on preventing cross contamination and infectious disease, we’re also providing electrostatic services to fight against all forms of COVID-19, Omnicron, and Delta, along with any other airborne pathogens and infectious diseases. Are customers are people that maybe elderly, disabled, depressed, or just everyday living, or busy individuals and businesses. We meets the needs of these individuals and businesses by taking time to think about the best course of action so that we execute the task with determination. We are striving to take cleaning to the next level. We also have a system in place of using multi-colored microfiber rags to clean surfaces. We clean our tools and supplies after every use in order to keep other environments we enter clean and safe. 

What makes me proud of Standing Ovation Cleaning Company LLC. is the fact of knowing when we leave a site it’s clean. What also makes me proud is knowing that I have a goal to reach in changing how cleaning is viewed, a level of expectation, and leaving a long-lasting impression of integrity and satisfaction on our consumers. The biggest accomplishment honestly has yet to come until all of the goals of the direction I want to take the company in are in place and completed. However, in current time, the biggest accomplishment to date has been when we serviced and elderly widowed woman who had become a hoarder from depression after her husband died. The woman was nervous and embarrassed to get help. We her feel comfortable, accomplished, satisfied, and brought her confidence level to an all-time high! That not only melted my heart but, it gave me confidence in knowing were are on the right track, we’re not just in this business to just make money, but to change lives one day at a time but also views, under sting, and educating the community one community at a time. 

As far as being a Credit Coach, what makes me proud is helping and giving someone the knowledge of better understanding about their finances, how it impacts their credit, a solution to fixing the problem, and the fact of the services working for them. Some of those services include credit restoration, identity protection, living will and trust including a power of attorney, and so much more. All 13 services that are offered, impacts your credit, day-to-day life, and protects you and your assets. 

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
When the Covid-19 crisis hit, it left me with uncertainty but gave me insight on the importance of multiple streams of income. Seeing so many having to shut down their business, countless people losing their job, losing their income and means of being able to provide was heartbreaking, but a breakthrough in knowing that I gotta keep moving forward in order to be part of the solution to help make a change where I can.
