Meet Cameron Johnson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cameron Johnson. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1990, Cameron showed impressive artistic skills at a young age and immediately began his rise through the industry.

A Fine Arts graduate from Cincinnati’s prestigious School for Creative & Performing Arts in 2010; Cameron began establishing himself among the city’s elite artists becoming a highly sought-after independent film director, cinematographer, and editor.

He did all this while expanding his knowledge skills at Cincinnati’s Art Academy with a focus on Life Painting and Drawing. Within 5 years of graduating Cameron has established himself as one of the country’s rising stars.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some struggles that I’ve encountered along the way, are mainly figuring out how to always stay relevant and bringing something new to the table. Forcing myself to always keep learning new things and pushing myself to do better with every project.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Well, I specialize in a lot of different areas, mainly directing, cinematography and editing. The main area that I am known for is creating music videos. Although I do a lot of commercials, films, and short films music videos have been the highlight of my career.

What makes you happy?
Being creative makes me happy because it gives me a reason to express myself. Also, it’s always great helping people bring their visions to life it’s weird because it’s like I’m giving their thoughts an image.
