Meet Ashley Newton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Newton.

Hi Ashley, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born in Frankfurt, Germany and raised in Lorain, Ohio for most of my life. I have two beautiful children, Marley and Israel, and a wonderful partner. I am currently an esthetician student, and will graduate in March 2022. I started writing devotionals in December 2020 and published my book, “Shifting in Purpose”, in December 2021. The road to my present life started as trial and error, figuring myself out and what I loved to do. I spent years going after goals other people set for me, and when I realized it did not align with my desires, I had to take a step in a different direction. In pursuing what was for me, everything seemed to start accelerating at an alarming rate. After I began writing, other doors started opening up, which birthed my brand – Ashley Newton & Co., which will focus on purpose, women’s empowerment, my spa – Posh Day Spa, and women’s swim and intimates line – Good Girl Bad Girl.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There is no such thing as a smooth road, and mine has been quite bumpy. I am a 2x college dropout with no degree but plenty of loans. I struggled for years trying to figure life out and abandoned my purpose plenty of times trying to chase things that were not for me. Looking back, everything worked out for my good and each situation brought me closer to my calling, and I am extremely grateful.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Ashley Newton & Co. is a luxury brand that focuses on women’s empowerment and purpose through the word of God. There are other brands under Ashley Newton & Co., which include Posh Day Spa and Good Girl Bad Girl.

We are currently planning a women’s retreat for the end of 2022/beginning of 2023 that will focus on healing and purpose digging. My role in my brand is helping individuals women specifically redefine purpose and break societal barriers of what it looks like to be a woman. I am best known for my gift of encouragement, through God, I can speak life into any situation and break down barriers.

What sets me apart is my ability to be bold in my beliefs and include God in my endeavors, which is not common in our society, especially among millennials like myself.

What I am most proud of brand-wise is my want for freedom, for myself and others around me. We promote freedom of time, resources, self-care, and turning everyday pleasures into luxury experiences. We march to the beat of our own drum and that makes me proud.

I will be finished with esthetics school in late March and having a soft launch of Posh Day Spa this summer!

How do you think about happiness?
Freedom of time. Time is essential. When deciding to go full throttle into my purpose, my main goal was to have time to spend with my children and family, to have plenty of self-care time, incorporate new hobbies, move on a more flexible time, and be a resource to others.

Having flexibility in my life has improved my mental health in ways I cannot explain.
