Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna Sharp.
Hi Anna, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m twelve years into my photography career now, but it all started with a Nikon D40 and my cousin’s senior portraits. I fell in love with portraits fairly quickly, I love people, and the things that make them unique. Weddings are always a welcome challenge! I’ve had the pleasure of shooting weddings in many cities and even a few different countries and I love that no two are ever the same. I’m an avid proponent of giving back to your community and I love to volunteer my services for a good cause.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Smooth? Never! What’s smooth? There are always challenges, if you don’t want to be challenged don’t open your own business, and especially not one in the creative field. Change is good, embrace it and grow and the struggles will seem less overwhelming when they come.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a photographer. There’s a lot of different types of photography that I like, but I’m most known for portraits and weddings. I have a knack for capturing people in a flattering light, and I love having the opportunity to make my clients feel attractive and validated in a way that you only get from having your portraits taken.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I’m a fairly bubbly individual, I bring an energy that people really seem to enjoy during a photo session.
