Meet Ally Breeze of Global Gymnastics

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ally Breeze.

Hi Ally, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I first joined Global Gymnastics as a young coach, and quickly fell in love with the athletes, the community, and the culture the former owner had built. When the opportunity came to take over the business in 2019, I knew it was the right path. The gym was already thriving, but I was excited to bring my own vision — expanding programs, adding new training methods, and building an even stronger team culture. It’s been such a privilege to continue something with deep roots while also shaping it for the future.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
We bought the business just two months before COVID hit, so the world turned upside down almost immediately. Overnight, we had to close our doors, navigate safety guidelines, and figure out how to keep our athletes engaged from home. It was daunting — but it also showed me the strength of our community. Families stuck with us, coaches adapted, and we found creative ways to keep training and connected. It wasn’t the first chapter I imagined as a new owner, but it made us more adaptable and resourceful!

We’ve been impressed with Global Gymnastics , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Global Gymnastics, we believe gymnastics is about more than flips and routines — it’s about building confident, resilient kids. We offer team gymnastics, recreational gymnastics classes, preschool gymnastics classes, tumbling, and ninja classes, all taught in a supportive, high-energy environment.

What sets us apart is our personal touch. Every athlete is known by name, encouraged through challenges, and celebrated for every milestone — big or small. Whether it’s a first cartwheel or a gold medal, we cheer just as loudly. Our goal is simple: create strong athletes and even stronger people.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
One thing that’s important to our story is that Global Gymnastics is based right here in a small Southeastern Ohio town. Our business is more than services—it’s relationships. We get to watch athletes grow in skill and confidence while bringing training opportunities to a small-town community. It’s proof that big dreams can thrive anywhere.

Running a gymnastics business here means wearing many hats—owner, coach, event planner, and more —but most importantly, it means being part of a community that feels like family.
