Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephie Scheid. They and their team shared their story with us below:

Our founder, Stephie Scheid, created Skinology Aesthetics with a mission to educate clients on non-toxic products and personalized skincare routines that are result-driven. Skincare is a commitment that both of us need to be committed to. Together, we can achieve the results you want to see. 

Stephie’s other vision was to break apart from the standard solo sessions found in typical facial spas. Our Face Bar offers 30-minute targeted facials, eliminating the fluff while educating clients on how to achieve the results they have been looking to achieve at prices that don’t break the bank. Let’s face it, we all have shelves full of products that do not work! The biggest question we had was, “Why does your facial cost $150-$250, and your products range from $150-$200 for a 1.2 oz?” Seriously? 

Recently we have partnered with Elisa Ramos, co-founder of Nakd Aesthetics, to collaborate on the medical side of the Aesthetic world. Our goal is to change the dynamics of the Aesthetic community. Whether your vibe is meeting a friend at our face bar or indulging in solo pampering, we’ve got you covered. We figured,” Hey, why not have the best of both worlds?!” 

It was also important to provide an upbeat space that welcomes everyone with open arms- getting back to providing concierge customer service to everyone that walks through our boutique. 

Elisa Ramos is the co-founder of Nakd Aesthetics. She received a master’s in science at The University of Cincinnati and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. With 11 years of nursing experience, caring for others has always been Elisa’s passion. She strives for more knowledge to enhance her aesthetic skills and provide her clients with natural and flawless results. Elisa received her aesthetic training with Aesthetic Medical Educators Training, earning a continued education with the American Academy of Family Physicians. With a keen eye for detail, Elisa offers her clients a unique experience in the field of aesthetic nursing. Elisa focuses on facial rejuvenation artistry using Botox, Dysport, fillers, dermaplaning, and chemical peels. 

With her charismatic nature and down-to-earth personality, Elisa seeks to give every one of her clients the boost of confidence to feel good in their skin; however they see fit! 

Stephie also takes pride in each and every employee that has made the commitment to join on with Skinology. To say it best – “The vibe attracts your tribe” because I would be nothing without them! 

Stephie has been a practicing Aesthetician since 2019. Outside of making faces beautiful, Stephie also is an interior designer and enjoys making spaces beautiful. My motto is “Less is more.” In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, friends, cooking meals with her husband Chad, and snuggling with her 2 pups, Jax and Jema. But the main thing that she loves is seeing the smile on her client’s faces when they look at themselves in the mirror after their service- PRICELESS! 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Can we say “COVID-19″?  Since COVID -19 we had to deal with price increases on all our PPP gear, products and with the ever-changing protocols/guidelines to follow.  We embrace challenges to grow; this is how we learn and improve on a daily basis.  Our persistence is a huge key in overcoming challenges.  Giving up means that you neither overcome the challenge or learn from it.  We power through challenges by asking for support, feeling our feelings, and we make a plan to work through it.  Going through the struggles, smooth, easy or hard, it has better prepared us to be fully present and take care of our clients. 

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
What sets us apart from our competitors is that care about the quality of care, not the quantity of care we provide to our clients. It is extremely important to us to educate our clients on the medical and aesthetic sides in this industry. To put it simply, we tell the truth. Elisa specializes in injectables. Stephie specializes in educating her clients on non-toxic products that are result driven. We are both very passionate about changing the dynamics of the Aesthetic world. We pride ourselves building our clients’ trust while pampering them with the self-care  treatment that they deserve.
