Life & Work with Natalie Ralph of Brookville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Ralph.

Hi Natalie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My husband, Zachary Ralph, grew up breeding Pure Bred AKC golden retriever puppies with his family. He grew to have a deep and passionate love for these animals and how majestic they are. He loved growing up in a home where he could take care of them and learn to work hard. So when we got married and started having a family, he naturally wanted to carry on the family business to bless his own children.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I feel that no matter what business you start up, you’re always going to have some bumpy spots. For example, the first time I had a dog go into labor I was all by myself with a sick baby and a newborn. Let’s just say that day was busy! But we were helped along the way by his mother who owns Golden Acres Farm in Blanchester, OH. She helped us work through our glitches.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As for my background: I graduated Brigham Young University – Idaho with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I have worked mainly in skilled nursing facilities and hospice. I love helping people. This love has played a HUGE role in what I now do and love. I now am a full-time mom and dog breeder. These animals are so caring and loving. They are amazing family dogs. They are so gentle and easy to train. This has become a very fulfilling aspect of my life and the life of my children.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love the sense of community. I love how friendly people are. I wish we could get the word out better where we are located and what we do. Oh and I wish we had a Chick-fil-a and Kristy Kreme in town 😉
