Training at the School for Creative and Performing Arts helped shape his discipline, but the real lessons came onstage — learning how to command an audience, tell a story, and grow in real time. Over the years, he evolved from a young pop artist into a performer rooted in soul, energy, and genuine connection.
Every chapter since has been about elevation — honoring the legends who inspired him while carving out a voice of his own. Now, Manny is stepping into the most focused and intentional era of his career, building music and performances that feel timeless, electric, and alive.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is navigating growth in an industry that often expects artists to stay frozen in one version of themselves. Starting young brought early visibility, but it also meant learning how to evolve publicly – refining my sound, identity, and voice while staying authentic.

Manny is a singer, songwriter, and performer whose work bridges live performance with R&B/Pop. He is a high-energy act, balancing timeless music with a modern edge.
He is currently touring and performing with the legendary funk band Zapp, an experience that has deepened his respect for musical legacy even more. At the same time, Manny continues to develop his solo artistry, focusing on music that reflects his growth, confidence, and evolving sound.
He approaches music as a craft, with a strong respect for legacy, live performance, and emotional honesty. His focus is less on chasing trends and more on building a body of work that feels intentional, connected, and lasting.
