Life & Work with Devon Moore of Ohio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Devon Moore.

Devon , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Growing up I’ve always been into fashion , wearing what I like not what’s the latest trend or what’s hot. In middle/high school friends & people often came to me to buy my shoes, clothes or to freak they shoe strings. 5 years after graduating during the covid pandemic I decided to do my own thing & make my own clothing line called DirtyMoney216. We had some success over the few years period but I decided to take a break.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No it hasn’t everything is/was a learning experience due to it being my first time doing this. Struggles include finding quality vendors & building relationships with them , funding , tariffs, knowing what & how much product to buy , etc

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Currently since taking a break from the clothing business I became apart of my own cousin art team for his music career. The artist name is EasylIfe(Ig: @nonoteasylife) & with the help of me & another artist named Rozo(Ig:rozo.arts) we have made some of his cover artwork for songs & his album

Who else deserves credit in your story?
My lil cousin Jordan(she was a model for the clothing company) , my dawg Dupri(like a little brother to me) , EasyLife(cousin) , Rozo(teammate & good friend) , my little cousin Reonna(did some great camera work on a photo shoot) , My brother taezon , my mother , my best friend/sister/twin Maya , my little cousins Nya & Jayla , & it’s soo many others who’s been there that I can go on forever
