Today we’d like to introduce you to David DeMasi. 

Hi David, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We started out of a discussion with some friends. I had been working as an advanced nurse for over a year at that point in time and a friend made a suggestion, “hey, we already get this done… why don’t you open a company for it and do it for us”. That comment got my wife and I thinking, was this feasible? We did some research and decided to take the plunge. We fully jumped in with research on classes, tutorials, business, etc… Now we are a full team out making a difference in our communities. We are a mobile unit at this time with ambitions to continue to grow and add more team members and continue with our journey. 

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has not been smooth. First, my wife and I are medically trained. We had no knowledge on how to start a business. In our industry there is a lot of apprehension and it is difficult to get help from other as we are all seen as competition. We reached out to friends, attorneys, colleagues, and our personal financial team for some guidance. All of them have been extremely helpful, but there are still many hurdles we are finding and it’s honestly a fun challenge for us to figure out. If this was easy, everyone would do it.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Personally, I have been in the healthcare field actively practicing since 2009. I received my master’s degree in 2018 and have been working as an emergency medicine practitioner since. Our company was founded out of an idea and has grown to what we have always wanted. We provide more than just aesthetic services; we are proud to offer our contractors/employees an opportunity to expand their knowledge and join the aesthetic world. To our clients, we get to know them, have conversations about what are their insecurities and if there are procedures, we offer that they would be eligible to assist. We offer neurotoxins (botox), dermal fillers, PRP, skin remodeling, chemical peels, scar revisions, and more services are added as they are available to our team. 

The thing that sets us apart from our competitors is our customer service and education. We are accessible more than just our business hours and happy to chat. We want not just our staff, but our clients to be educated about why we perform our procedures. We have also invested heavily in patient safety with our ultrasound machine to help us identify potential hazards during procedures. The biggest thing I am proud of is how our clients appreciate our flexibility and ability to come to their homes to help them. They are busy individuals and appreciate our services.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite child memory is riding my ATV with my friends. I still enjoy this activity today.
