Life & Work with Danielle Williams of Westerville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Williams.

Hi Danielle, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always loved writing, as a child I’d sat my dads desk and just write. I started calligraphy during the pandemic as a creative outlet. I’ve never been a crafty, creative person so I had no idea my little hobby would turn into a growing business

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been pretty smooth but I struggled with imposter syndrome for awhile, wondering if my work was good enough, are people going to like it and want my services, comparing myself to others in the industry and it’s been a bit challenging trying to figure the “business side of things out

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a local calligrapher/engraver in Columbus, OH specializing in live, on-site personalization for brand activations, weddings, corporate and private events & in-studio commissions. My services include calligraphy, engraving, heat foiling, and woodburning. I’m most proud of how far I’ve grown personally and professionally, how I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone, invested in myself and am reaching my goals. My confidence in my work has grown and I know I can really do this! What sets me apart is my attention to detail, determination and bubbly personality. I love what I do and I can’t wait to bring that “wow” factor to your next event through live,on-site personalization. Let’s chat!
