Today we’d like to introduce you to Anita Ventura.

Hi Anita, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve always had an artistic eye. I first started photography in college when someone asked me to take a photo of their dog. It was such an incredible photo series that someone asked me to photograph their wedding—and the rest was history.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has been buttery pavement. Not a single struggle in owning a business. Piece of cake. For babies.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in making timeless images, from weddings to businesses to pet portraits. I’m known for my blonde hair and being incredibly loquacious with anyone that will listen. You and I — we’ll be best buds soon.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t believe in luck. You won’t make it very far if you’re going to rely on luck.
