Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Crumbley

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Partydreams Columbus originated in London, Ohio during the Covid pandemic of 2020. Owner, Courtney Glispie is a jack of all trades, but finds her passion in all things wedding. With a background in business she decided to lean further into the wedding industry more than ever and opened Partydreams London. In the quiet country side it really took off using our Classic Collections. Clients saving more than ever with our flat rates! However, finding more and more clients traveling from Columbus to use our services, the decision to move was inevitable.

In 2022, the name officially changed to Partydreams Columbus. With a bigger hub and easier access, business picked up even more and Courtney found herself needing a clone… literally! Someone who had the same work ethic, attention to detail, and passion for weddings as herself. This brought on assistant Taylor Crumbley. She used the chic Black Collection in her wedding in March 2022. Finding the process truly as simple, affordable, and memorable as stated, she just knew she wanted in the business as well.

As time passed, Courtney decided although she still loved weddings, photography was her dream career. Growing her passion one gallery at a time, she decided it was best if she took the backseat to decor and promote Taylor to Chief of operations. In 2023, Taylor found new ways to connect with other women who owned small businesses. With regular open houses provided for clients to visit and see decor in person, she has continued to network in the industry and provided new VIP Vendors to our client list. In these past few years we have helped a few hundred clients with our multiple collections (Classic, Boho, and Black), Gold bundle, 5ft Love letters, and our newest addition audio guestbook!

We as women know how important it is to stick together. However, as a small business owner it is even more important! Knowing and trusting another with your clients is a different type of love language amongst us. With our VIP Vendors, we are lending a helping hand back into the community to continue to grow all across the wedding industry. Although we may be small, we would like to think we make a BIG impact.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Smooth road? Momma always said “If it ain’t rough, it ain’t right”! Starting in a pandemic was a wild ride. Unsure of when the world would re-open and allow people to come together again weighed heavy on everyone’s mind. However, there is one thing that could not be destroyed, and that is unconditional love. We found people still wanted to come together and celebrate these incredible moments, even if it was on a much smaller scale. Over the years more and more rental vendors pop up with similar items and ideas. However, they are no match to our hands on approach with each individual client.

We’ve been impressed with Partydreams Columbus, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Partydreams Columbus is a decor rental vendor. Although we are mostly known for weddings, our decor also works great at other celebrations such as anniversaries, graduations, baby showers, and bridal showers. We are a woman owned and operated small business. But not just any women, sisters! Who would have thought working with your best friend would bring such joy? Many companies within the wedding industry exploit customers, causing stress and debt all before they even get the chance to celebrate.

Partydreams Columbus uses a flat rate system. Depending on which collection or bundle chosen, clients rent them for less than 10% retail. That is how we know we can save them $100s-$1000s. We are also eco friendly. Most clients only have one wedding, and what were they supposed to do with the decor once they were done? Where would they store it? Attempting to sell it for penny’s on the dollar, clients found themselves frustrated.

We are proud to be a small but an important part at each and every celebration in life. We understand the order of importance at each event, but we also know it looks and feels a lot better when using Partydreams Columbus. We are a franchise in the national company Partydreams LTD. We continue to grow annually across several states. Working as a team, the Partydreams come true!

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Sisters! Courtney Glispie is the owner. However, she is the younger sister. Taylor refers to her as her little big sister. Looking up to her in all of her business and personal growth she is an excellent mentor.
