Inspiring Conversations with Blaire Caldwell of SIR.BLAIREE CAFÉ

Today we’d like to introduce you to Blaire Caldwell.

Hi Blaire, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
Oldest of 9 children. Attended and still attending University of Toledo. I began passively investing in Home Depot stock while working in 2009. Started working for an automotive company. Sold my stock and purchased a house around the age of 23. Rented home out and later turned it into an Airbnb business in 2019, which funded my Café slash community center business that is now joining hands with profit and non-profit organizations to ensure they have a safe and friendly space to do business with.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Learning how to attract the best customers and keep them happy and returning. Which lead to customers giving my home baked bread.

We’ve been impressed with SIR.BLAIREE CAFÉ LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We believe in serving with the spirit of excellence and support community through creative rental space and a cafe serving food and staples such a lemon cake, cookies music to drive the flavors home. We create the environment and taste for all occasions.

Risk-taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
The risk I took was converting a building into what I imagined organically. Starting my café in an area that has mostly homes and traffic to rely on. Knowledgeable people advised me to set up shop in the city to win business. I believe if people like your product and experience they receive, then people will show up even if they carpool.
