Inspiring Conversations with Miranda Cantrell of YTB Creations

Today we’d like to introduce you to Miranda Cantrell.  

Miranda, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Miranda Cantrell, the Owner of YTB Creations LLC. Scorpio Sun, Gemini Moon, Virgo Rising I am a lifelong spiritual student. I have been interested in spirituality and the greater mysteries of the universe for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was fascinated with all things magical. 

In my mid-twenties, I experienced a long Dark Night of the Soul: a period of utter spiritual desolation, disconnection, and emptiness in which one feels totally separated from the Divine. As I told my therapist at the time, I was terrified by the idea that my existence, and my ability to experience this life, could all be taken away from me in an instant. I became consumed by the inevitability of death and the concept of non-existence. 

Each night I laid awake wondering if this would be the night when I wouldn’t wake up in the morning. Above all, I worried that this existence was utterly meaningless, and I have done nothing to change the world or help anyone else in need. 

I remember the exact moment my entire worldview shifted. In an act of desperation, I visited my local metaphysical shop—something I hadn’t done in years. I purchased a crystal, started a bath, placed the crystal on my forehead, and closed my eyes. What I experienced during that bath meditation caused me to reconsider the beliefs I had developed over the years. It was the start of a long colorful journey and the beginning of my spiritual awakening. This was the moment I knew I not only could heal myself but others as well, and that’s when YTBCreations LLC began! 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s never easy starting a spiritual-based business. I knew starting this; I would have to face a lot of harsh feedback. From Astrology, divination, Tarot telling fortunes with regular playing cards, reiki services, palmistry, numerology, crystal gazing, clairvoyance, clairaudience, automatic writing and tea leaf reading, Ouija boards, mind-reading, auras, ghosts, haunted houses, vampirism, lycanthropy, fairies, brownies and sprites, herbalism, communicating with elemental forces, reincarnation, past lives, trances, spirit boxes, witchcraft, sorcerers and their familiars, and ritual magic occultism is nothing more than a belief (or experimentation) in alternative ways of viewing the world, views that may not necessarily be welcomed, nor understood, by the culture. It’s a pliable, ever-changing philosophy. Finding lines of thought and methods of illuminating the darkness that are as personal as our DNA. Just as it’s unusual for people to define the word occult in the same way, no two individuals can ever experience it exactly alike. The occult is a personal and unique experience well worth the adventure. I’ve learned to not fear it but to embrace the mystery. 

We’ve been impressed with YTB CREATIONS LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I believe that as humans, we can never have all the answers. To be a spiritual being means to never stop learning. My spiritual beliefs: that nature is sacred and divine. My spiritual practices center very heavily around nature, including the moon, the planets, the seasons, and the earth itself.⁣ My favorite element to work with is Water, of course, as most my small business focuses on spiritual bath rituals. 

I believe that all humans are inherently magical and spiritual begins. I believe that we all have the power to tap into the energies of the universe and connect with them if we so choose because we are as much a part of the universe as the ocean, the mountains, and the forests are part of it. 

My practice is always evolving. I personally feel drawn to Ancestral Healing. I love to work with candles, herbs, crystals, and tarot.
