Today we’d like to introduce you to Maranda Neuendorf.
Hi Maranda, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story of Many Moons Healing began when I was freshly out of college from Cleveland State University. I really had no clue who or what I offered to this world. I knew I really enjoyed holistic health and living. It was a passion of mine from a young age at 14, that is when I discovered Yoga. I regularly attended classes and grew my interest in this world. I dove into apothecary and that is what led me to Reiki healing. I became a Reiki Master while entering yoga teacher training. After yoga teacher training in 2018, I started managing a studio and teaching many classes around Cleveland. In 2019, I enrolled myself into Cleveland Institute of Medical Massage and that day of enrollment I discovered I was pregnant with my first son. Covid hit, and I had my first born and finished up school. During school our final project was envisioning a business of ours. That is when Many Moons Healing was created and started manifesting. Right out of school, I accepted a position at Massage Heights. During my time there I grew my strengths, learned new skills and enjoyed my friends and clients there. My first born was entering kindergarten this year and I knew I was ready to make a career jump. In February of 2025, Many Moons Healing was born! Located in BayStyle in Bay Village. I really thought of this jump over night, called a few places to tour and signed a lease that day. I really just took the leap—but so grateful I did! Many Moons has really been an amazing adventure for me. I am finding myself really connecting with clients in a way I always envisioned I would. Its more than just a massage practice there. I offer physical body, nervous and energetic system and spiritual healing and growth. Its really beautiful to hold a practice where anyone who walks in can be their authentic selves in a safe environment.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
So far I truly have been blessed with the outcomes of taking the leap and opening Many Moons. The struggles I have endured would be balancing my schedule. I vowed to myself that Wednesdays are my “me” days. As a mom of three littles under 5, I need it. I take that day to have appointments, catch up on household duties and even run to the grocery store in peace. It has been hard for me to hold a boundary without feeling guilt of not taking a client that day. But I have to hold myself accountable in order to better balance my own life.
As you know, we’re big fans of Many Moons Healing. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Many Moons Healing is a studio inside BayStyle located in Bay Village, Ohio. Inside Many Moons I offer Massage, Reiki, Meditation, Sound Healing and Intuitive Work. I do hope one day to expand and have a space that can accommodate workshops and yoga classes. I have been a Reiki master since 2018, a Yoga and Mediation instructor since 2018 and a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2021. My massage modalities I like to include in services are myofascial release, stretching, light relaxation to deep therapeutic pressure, prenatal and lymphatic drainage. My enhancements I offer in services are hot stones, cupping, foot/hand scrubs, peppermint scalp massage, cold stone face massage and red light therapy. Sound healing is also a option with a service or alone. In addition, I offer Reiki services with or without intuitive debriefs. This is when after the Reiki session we sit together and go over what was found in the Reiki service. I also use Angel/Oracle cards and use my mediumship as a tool to guide the debrief.
My favorite services to give would be a 90 minuet massage service followed by a 30 minuet Reiki service with a intuitive debrief. This is what really sets me apart from other massage studios. When we focus on the physical body along with the nervous/ energetic systems it really kicks up the healing a notch. We store memories and energy inside our muscles which is where the knots accumulate and the aches and pains. When we do not address the energetic body along with the physical I believe it truly is not as effective. The session is wrapped up with a intuitive debrief. This is where we can discuss what the body is holding on to, what we would like to work on and then maybe even hear what your angels or spirit guides have to tell us as well. It truly is a magical service. I feel honored to be able to live a life where I get to facilitate this for others every day.
I like to describe Many Moons Healing as just more than a typical massage.
I also like to add I do accept HSA or FSA which is a cool perk for someone who has that with their health insurance.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory would be playing outside all day long with my younger sister and all the kids in my neighborhood. The feeling of having no cares in the world other than where are we getting the next snack or juice box from. Also, probably finding a home video of me walking around my homes yard describing and talking about each plant and flower that was outside. The video was over 2 hours long.
