Inspiring Conversations with Liz Henry of Market Center Mentorship

Today we’d like to introduce you to Liz Henry.

Hi Liz, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello! My name is Liz Henry, and I am a licensed real estate agent, and also the creator of MCM (Market Center Mentorship), which is a real estate training program that has been carefully curated into scalable systems and models. I started in 2017, after leaving nearly a decade worth of employment history within the residential industry and running operations – a ring on the finger and pending “I do’s” prompted the change of career and lifestyle.

By March of 2018, I had made those changes with a new career and client base, a marriage, and my first little one – a bouncing baby boy – that made his appearance into the world – all within a 13 month timespan. Motherhood is a catalyst of an evolution of self. My “Big Why” had changed, and my drive to be and do more was now fueled by this new life. I started reaching for more opportunities to learn and to grow – to know as much as I possibly could. I wanted to take the whole of the industry in my hands, take it apart piece by piece to understand how the mechanics worked, and where my cog in the wheelhouse fit.

In the Fall of 2019, I was involved with the teaching of the new technologies of KW Command. A new era of a CRM for the brokerage and company as a whole. The intricacies of operational organization have always piqued my interest and my natural abilities played well into that. I was at that time offered the position of Productivity Coach, a position with a title and not much else to it. With a sordid history, and connotation that was anything but pleasant, I knew the task ahead was daunting.

To make light of the struggles and feeling of being utterly lost wouldn’t do my story justice, but until you have walked in the shoes of someone who is told to go and handed a broken compass, words are difficult to find. With the guidance of a Godsend of a professional coach, an immense amount of grit, I began to reweave the tapestry of what productivity coaching meant. March 2020 came in with ominous gusto, and the world came to an abrupt halt, but I did not. I saw this as my chance to have the world on pause as I began to build. April 2020 brought in new changes to MCM, but also to my home life, as we discovered we would be adding another set of pitter-pattering feet to our brood.

As my body built a baby, my brain built a program. We began to expand within our market center, and then another, and then another. The program is designed to educate and encourage those who are embarking on or growing their real estate career. From newly licensed, to seasoned professionals, continual development and accountability are key to building the systems & models imperative to designing a life worth living.

I now get to spend my days working with incredible humans that pour themselves and their knowledge into others. I have the privilege to be a solution finder, creator and live in my unique abilities.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The road has been filled with humps, bumps & hurdles along the way. From egos (mine as well as others), to limiting beliefs, broken systems and slow fulfilling results- there has been an immense amount of pivoting and shifting along the way.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
