Today we’d like to introduce you to Ibrahim Konate.
Ibrahim, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve always wanted to be a business owner. I don’t think there’s a better way to affect more industries and more people in a positive way aside from being a business owner.
I started working online in 2016; my first experience was creating e-commerce websites that used drop shipping. Eventually, I pivoted to providing SEO work to local businesses because I found it easier to choose to either market or sell a product. Instead of marketing AND selling.
That’s how Nature Way Marketing was created. My goal is to help businesses organically reach people who are searching for or in need of a service the business offers and they’re not sure where to go.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being in business most definitely isn’t easy otherwise, 1 in 5 wouldn’t fail the first year. I’ve pivoted and changed how my business operates time and again to accommodate my strengths as well as the market and its needs.
Some obstacles about providing a service is being able to clearly demonstrate to someone how that service will help them, most business owners know they aren’t doing enough SEO, or they’re not managing their website as they should be, but to help them take that leap and release control of a certain part and trust someone else will provide great quality service to support their business can be an uphill battle at times.
Aside from that patience… Learning patience and that everything will work out is something I practice day in and day out to keep from losing my marbles.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Nature Way Marketing helps business owners grow and attract traffic organically. The traffic source we bring to businesses isn’t paid traffic, so the return on investment is much higher than other forms of marketing.
I specialize in search engine optimization also known as SEO. The most simple way to explain what I do is, I help business owners organize their website to make it useful and accessible, which leads to more conversions, visitors, customers, and money!
One thing that makes me extremely proud is seeing the results I bring to businesses. When they tell me, what we’re doing is working or that they see an increase in business or an increase in customers.
I truly love providing great service, always have and always will, and that’s one of my favorite things about being a business owner.
It’s like, I own the McDonald’s, and the ice cream machine is never down!!! Ice cream for everybody!
What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory was seeing snow for the first time. I come from the motherland, Africa, where we have no snow. Seeing an all-white snowy world, I thought I was dead and in heaven but to my great surprise. Snow covered everything!!! Man, it was a sight to see!
