Hi Dion, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I previously worked for a company that sold home interiors and bath products. Once the order would come in, I would create gift baskets with these items because I thought my customers deserved more than having their items delivered in a bag. Friends and family encouraged me to sell these gift baskets, but I would always say, “Who would want to purchase gift baskets from lil’ ole me. No one would ever buy my gift baskets.” Several years after shrugging off the idea, I thought ‘Why not – Why not me?” So, I started selling a few and then a few turned into many. The word got out and I officially started my business in 2017.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The challenges would be the start-up. Finding current and accurate information for first-time entrepreneurs.

We’ve been impressed with Uniquely Inspired Gift Baskets, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the owner and gift designer of a professional gifting company in Akron, Ohio called Uniquely Inspired Gift Baskets. We have been providing professional gifting services since 2017 and take pride in creating custom and creative gifts for all occasions. We offer, individual gifting services as well as specialty gifting services for Corporate, realtors, hotels and special events. We know that it’s in the small details that makes each gift special and take pride in providing customization, custom printed ribbon, branded products, card services, personalization and more.

We are most proud of our capability to support other small business through shopping local from Ohio artisans. We have created a special Ohio shaped gift basket filled with local goodies from local Ohio artisans.

We love that we are able to help local and non-local businesses by designing and creating branded gift boxes that can be used as marketing tools that expands their brand. Our branded gift boxes are great for events, referrals, marketing, or simply to say Thank You. They can be sold empty or be filled with gourmet treats, non-food items and your branded products that we create for you!
