Inspiring Conversations with Candacia McBride of CeeTarot CeeCrystals

Today we’d like to introduce you to Candacia McBride.

Hi Candacia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I went through a personal experience where I had a mental breakdown after escaping abuse and I prayed. I didn’t pray often because I had a lot of questions behind it. That same night I went to sleep and was shown three numbers. I seen them in the dream and when I woke up, I looked them up. When I looked them up, the meaning was “your prayer was heard.” ever since that day I accepted who I truly was. My intuition and my personal power. It led me through a healing journey that I am still on. It’s been almost 6 years. With my own healing journey, I have helped others and sourced my empathy for others to help them along their journey as well. I was nervous at first, but the amount of people that came to me privately out of embarrassment or feeling misunderstood showed me that my love was indeed okay and even needed and appreciated. At the beginning I tried to understand the person that I truly was. I shortly received offered to work with other companies including one that wanted me to take over their company after meeting me. However, I ended up opening my own.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Along the way I’ve experienced different ups and downs. For the most part, I believe there was more ups because I’m doing something that I truly believe in and that I truly love. The business isn’t just about business. It’s a lifestyle. A way to see beauty in all the chaos. I will say some struggles included clients that wanted me to run their life for them. This made me make sure to focus on the healing aspect more than just giving answers because that was never my purpose personally. eventually, we get down to the needy, greedy, and it was absolutely so rewarding and great to see. The main struggles came when I opened up a location downtown. I try to keep my prices reasonable, but sometimes it wasn’t enough. I struggle with the business aspect because I genuinely care that people do get resources and help yet you need a balance and an equal exchange of energy to keep things in proper rotation. I also work as a nurse so that’s another story. Other struggles include my energy levels, giving a lot of time to others and not having enough left for myself at the end of the day. Again, a lot of the struggles had to do with a balance for me, learning the ends and outs of it. I’m very thankful for every part of it, though I wouldn’t change it.

As you know, we’re big fans of CeeTarot CeeCrystals. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My business revolves around helping people with self discovery. Some people call me a psychic, some people call me a healer, a channeler. I prefer healer. You can come to me and get an energy reading about certain parts of your life and I also provide crystals for those who may be looking for them. I’m mostly known for my readings out of state. In my city, I am mostly known for my crystals and my readings. I think what sets me apart from other people is the amount of energy I do put into this work. I have several reviews on Etsy talking about this. It’s important to me. I also can be very blunt, but instead of giving you only possible answers I hope you look deeper into the issue. So my goal is to address the host of a problem or situation. A lot of times I have clients who look at me as their friend and they have expressed that and I’m so grateful for that. Brand wise I’m just proud that I did it. I’m proud that I actually make an impact. I’m proud of myself. I’m proud of the people around me. And I’m proud of creating safe spaces for people. My services includes helping you on your own journey. Outside of readings and crystals, I do host cabin meetings where we go in nature and sit around a fire with educational and enlightening conversations. I also host park walks and meditation sessions. To be honest, my favorite is the park walks. It’s very peaceful and anyone can come and you don’t have to talk to anyone if you don’t want to. I did them a lot on my own so I just said anyone can come and walk with me if they desire.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was to myself. Pretty quiet I didn’t say much. I observed everything. I questioned everything in my head. I wrote books, very long books. Aero poetry. Very emotional. I felt everything even if it wasn’t my emotions. I was overstimulated most of the time so I shut down. I had a huge imagination and I’d go there every night. I actually got really good grades though. I was a loner. I had a couple friends, of course. My parents were strict, which is understandable and because of that that’s why I became so quiet and a loner because there were so many people that looked at me funny when I had to go home ha ha. One thing though is that I used to see things, have dreams, premonitions, experiences that I never understood so I just ignored it. I don’t anymore.
