A Legacy Message is a message of Love, Appreciation, and Advice that you leave behind for loved ones and future generations. It can be a letter, an audio recording or a video recording. It can be referenced as part of your estate planning documents or a separate arrangement. It is a message or series of messages created to help in mourning, provide an ongoing impact, or communicate specific ideas to specific people after your death like family members or successors in the family business.

There are too many people that I have known that have died and I wish that I could remember their voice, their values, and their vision for the future. They had great insight to share with the World. Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No. COVID really shut down the business. Tried to go more virtual and at least encourage people to create recordings of grandparents in nursing homes. But I do not think people did. Nursing home staff was not helpful in the process because they were so overwhelmed. Too many people died in Nursing homes via COVID with their stories lost forever. Business is getting better as society opens up and people realize the treasured memories and voices that can be lost. I continue to encourage the discipline of creating your Legacy Message.
