Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyler & Nina Feeken.
Tyler & Nina, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
With backgrounds in education and a passion for supporting women and couples, Tyler and Nina Feeken launched Feeken Fertility at the beginning of 2025. During their own family planning journey, they came to understand the benefits and importance of Natural Family Planning (NFP) education- both for preventing pregnancy and for getting pregnant. They are currently pursuing certification through SymptoPro. During her own pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experiences, Nina learned how doulas can partner with women and couples to provide additional support. She is currently pursuing birth doula certification through DONA. Tyler and Nina enjoy the opportunities to come alongside women and couples to educate them about their bodies’ natural processes while partnering with them throughout the different stages of their family planning journey.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Our own NFP journey began because of a need to find non-hormonal birth control options. The lack of resources available to us through our local OB/GYN office led us to SymptoPro. SymptoPro trains and provides instructors of the Sympto-Thermal method of NFP. In working with our instructor, we were able to use Nina’s temperature and physical symptoms to make informed and effective family planning decisions. The more we learned about NFP, the more we felt the need to become instructors ourselves and provide education for women and couples through Feeken Fertility.

NFP Education mentors and doula mentors are an essential part of how we have gotten to where we are today. We are currently working alongside mentors with SymptoPro and DONA for certification in NFP education and birth doula work.
