Hidden Gems: Meet Toria Germain of Ignite Boudoir by Toria G.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Toria Germain.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Shortly after having my first child, I realized how many pictures I didn’t have with my son. I had what seemed like a million and one pictures of him with my husband or with loved ones, yet there were none of me. 

With my husband’s encouragement, I was on a mission to capture mothers with their children to fill the gap of mothers needing and wanting to cherish these moments. 

A few sessions in, I realized how many women didn’t really need this. Nor did they want it. They truly craved to feel empowered for who they are outside of their tasks and roles of wife and mother. This led me to establish Ignite Boudoir, where we create a limitless oasis for women to honor their desires, embody their sensuality, and step fully into their power and divinity. 

Since photographing my first boudoir session, I have worked with a number of women capturing their essence, and watching each one transform into the goddess they truly are is magical. 

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road. One thing I tell everyone is if you want to do some transformative personal work, become an entrepreneur. It has shown me so many things about myself and how the world works. One of the past struggles I have had is allowing my journey to be my own. There may be several strategies out there but learning to choose the one that energetically felt best to me always led to the best results. 

We’ve been impressed with Ignite Boudoir by Toria G., but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Ignite Boudoir was founded in 2019 under Toria Germain Photography to create space for women to embrace their beauty, embody their sensuality, and create the best pictures they have ever seen of themselves. 

As a full-service boutique studio, I take pride in curating a seamless boudoir experience for women that is filled with ease. 

From hair and makeup, styling assistance, posing and expression guidance, we have you covered. Many of our clients show up in sweat clothes and leave feeling like they were a model for a day as we curate the experience specifically to their wants and desires. 

The Ignite Boudoir experience is more than taking sexy pictures; it is an oasis for women to rediscover their power while celebrating their sensuality and beauty. 

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is women seeing their true power and standing in it. Women create the culture of a society, as we are the nurturers and caretakers in many cases. If we are continuously putting our wants and needs on the back burner, we aren’t taking care of ourselves. We aren’t able to be or give our best to those who come after us. It is up to us to create space to not only state what we need and desire but to also receive it. When we are able to make space to celebrate ourselves, we create a world where young women can celebrate themselves just as they are. Their true wants, needs, and desires.
