Hidden Gems: Meet Tony Reed of Tk Visions

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tony Reed.

Hi Tony, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
We could go way back and say this started 15-20 years ago. A brief background of then, I was creating music with a few close friends at the time so creativity has always been a passion for all of us. Chasing dreams that seemed far fetched was something we were all invested in. At this point a few of us even bought cameras to start shooting our own music videos. Many years later, I decided to pick the camera back up about 8-9 years ago and we started shooting everything. Music videos, portraits, music videos, weddings, etc. I shot my first wedding with my wife and she was pregnant with our first child. After shooting a few weddings we started to fill up our summers to the point we shot 46 weddings in one year. Mind you at this time, we still worked full time jobs and shot real estate and basically anything else we could outside of our jobs. Skip forward to the end of 2024 when I decided to go all in and quit my full time job to pursue the videography/photography business. Little did I know all that hard work over the years would finally start to come around full circle after making this leap of faith. We went all in with the business in 2025 with hopes and dreams to be THE BEST so that clients would start to come to us instead of the daily grind of cold calling and building the client base from scratch. That snowball effect may seem like it happened overnight but it took 10 years to be an overnight success *BIg Sean Voice**

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I would love to say it has been a smooth road. But honestly I think it’s the struggle, hustle, and grind that keeps us going sometimes. Comparable to life, there is always some curveballs and rocks in the road. It’s all about adjusting, repositioning and pivoting when needed. I don’t like to focus on these topics much so I will keep it short and say the main challenges for me would be scaling a business while you are still in learning stages as the owner. Training someone from scratch that never used a camera before and focusing on growing the business at the same time is not for the weak. Trying to fit 10 years of learning into a few months and also expecting all of our clients to trust that they can do what you can do is a little nerve racking but that’s also the beauty of training from scratch. They are learning how you want to teach. There will always be obstacles and challenges but there’s always a solution or way to avoid these challenges turning into problems.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Tk Visions is a videography/photography business. We offer a pretty diverse catalog of services but our main focus lately has been real estate media. We used 2025 to focus mainly on the real estate side of the business to perfect the craft with goals to be known as the best in our market. I do feel like we have surpassed a lot of our goals on the real estate side with plenty of room to still grow. The Tk Visions experience is more than just a video. I pride myself on building REAL relationships and doing right by everyone. Those relationships have positioned us and there’s a real reason for it. I am proud that we have made the name stand out and exceeded limits that we didn’t know we could achieve. Meeting great people along the way has been such a blessing and we are thankful for these opportunities each and every day.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Holding a real conversation with someone that doesn’t always feel transactional. Whether or not it is transactional were all still human. No matter where any of us are in life we bleed the same blood.
