Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Lewis.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I left corporate in 2019 involuntarily with a mission to prioritize motherhood without tempering my ambition. Prior to that, I started a business that would allow me to be both an amazing mother and a rockstar marketer. In my world, I knew both could co-exist, and if I couldn’t find it, I was going to create it. So, I did. Today, I help women in service-based businesses show up online with clarity, confidence & consistency. I still get to attend the field trips, witness important milestones, and snuggle on sick days. That means more to me than I ever knew it would before becoming a mom. It isn’t an easy balance by any means, but it’s mine, and that makes me proud.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It absolutely hasn’t been a smooth ride. In 2021, I went back to corporate temporarily because I battled severe postpartum depression and anxiety with my second child. I needed some adult interaction and to feel a little more like “me” again. The sleepless nights and a global pandemic wreaked havoc on my nervous system. I outsourced a lot of my business until I felt healthy enough to come back to it. After losing my boss, also an old friend and his wife, to a car accident, I realized I was needed at home far more than I was needed at work. I was determined again to find my version of balance. What I’ve realized during each of the tough moments is that there is no right or wrong thing to do, just the right or wrong thing for you. And everyone is different, and that’s okay.
As you know, we’re big fans of More Meaningful Marketing® & More Than A Marketer™. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
When I started this business, I wasn’t thinking about the long-term vision in the way I see it now. I was a new mom with a sick baby, very full-time hours, and very real demands in the corporate world. Not to mention, in a male-dominated industry.
I had just been pushed out of a corporate career I loved, and I needed to figure out how to be home with my daughter without our family falling apart. We were a dual-income household. It had to work. So when I got fired, I said, “It’s now or never.”
Nearly a decade later, that decision has become something I couldn’t have dreamed up on my best day.
The business has grown into two connected brands. More Than a Marketer™ is where the deeper work lives. Leadership, speaking, education, strategy. That’s the philosophy side. The bigger conversation. More Meaningful Marketing® is where the execution happens. This combined process takes women from stuck to clarity, confidence, and consistency, and then builds it out.
I work with women in service-based industries. Accountants, coaches, consultants, real estate professionals, creatives, and more. Women who are exceptional at what they do but have been invisible online, inconsistent, or just exhausted by marketing that doesn’t feel like them.
My clients get someone who thinks like a B2B strategist and speaks to the heart of a personal brand. I spent years in global automation, manufacturing, engineering, and power generation companies. Rooms that were not built for women, and definitely not for mothers. When I left, I went looking for the human side of this work. The relationships. The emotion. The meaning. That’s what I build for my clients now.
The thing clients say that lights me up most? “I can’t explain it, but you make me feel like I can do anything.”
That pretty much sums up my entire mission of women coming together powerfully, and “Building the longer table, not the taller fence.”
Wait, did I just hear another snack request?!
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success, for me, is living on my own terms. In motherhood and in life. That’s what I was fighting for when I left corporate. That’s what I’m still building every day, and in every season, I’m re-evaluating what my life and my business need. It’s been such an incredible and igniting journey.
