Hidden Gems: Meet Rachel Bidlack of Rachel Bidlack LMT & Vitally Balanced

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachel Bidlack.

Hi Rachel, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My Journey as a Healing Practitioner

I launched my massage therapy practice in 2017, after spending 14 years in the day spa industry as both a licensed Cosmetologist and Massage Therapist. While the spa world provided a foundation, I realized I wanted to offer something deeper—true relief from pain, both physical and emotional. The spa environment often prioritizes relaxation over long-term healing, and I knew there was more I could do.

My journey began with a deeper exploration into therapeutic modalities like medical massage, deep tissue work, and acupressure. I became my first client, testing techniques on myself before incorporating them into my practice. Each success drove me to learn more.

That first year in business, I encountered Usui Reiki. It was a profound turning point—my first real insight into the energetic and spiritual aspects of healing. This experience opened a door to a whole new dimension of the body, and I’ve been walking through that door ever since.

Driven by a passion to understand the body from every angle—physical, emotional, and spiritual—I dove into advanced studies. I completed certifications in Usui Reiki (eventually becoming a Reiki Master), Shamanic mentorship, Acupressure, Gua Sha, Myofascial Release, Meditation, and more. I also became a student at the Modern Mystery School, which I describe as a kind of spiritual college.

Over the past five years, I’ve studied more than 15 healing modalities, including Ensofic Ray—a powerful, ancient form of Reiki. These techniques are part of a tradition known as Ancient Lineage Healings, they date back over 3,000 years to King Solomon. These profound, esoteric methods aren’t widely known, but they’ve brought transformative results to clients who are open to exploring spiritual healing.

Massage has remained my physical entry point—a way to build trust with clients and introduce deeper work when appropriate. I view massage as the doorway, and once that connection is formed, I’m able to offer tools for healing that go beyond the physical.

In 2024, I expanded my role by teaching massage therapy to a class of 16 students. It was both exhilarating and humbling. I quickly realized I wasn’t just there to teach—I was there to learn, reflect, and grow. Sharing my 21 years of experience brought clarity to how much the industry can evolve, and how much more there is to offer.

That same year, I deepened my understanding of fascia, especially through a personal injury involving my sacroiliac joint. Traditional courses in Myofascial Release helped somewhat, but I needed more. I discovered a group called Human Garage and began their 28-day Stress Reset program. After just one video, I felt 90% better—an astounding result during a time of severe pain when I was considering medical intervention.

The Human Garage approach was unlike anything I’d encountered. Their fascial maneuvers released not only physical tension, but also stored stress, emotions, and trauma. I immersed myself in their work for 18 months and later became one of the first certified coaches they trained.

I now integrate these fascial maneuvers into my practice—working with clients in my home studio, a chiropractor’s office, and a recovery center where I also teach yoga. The results have been extraordinary: clients have experienced relief from hip replacements, frozen shoulders, sciatica, fibromyalgia, detox symptoms, cravings, and more. For those willing to dive into this work consistently, the transformation is life-changing.

My practice continues to evolve, but my mission remains the same: to help people heal—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I believe true change starts within. When I commit to my own healing, I become a living example of what’s possible. That’s how I believe I can change the world—by being the change I want to see and empowering others to do the same.

Helping people live healthier, happier, and more fulfilled lives is not just my profession—it’s my calling. And I’m just getting started.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Unlearning all that I have learned to be able to learn things in a new and different way. If my cup is full there’s no room for more knowledge. So, I must empty my cup to fill it again. The more I know the less I know about the body and that is powerful . and humbling Some of my struggles along the way were getting a divorce after being married 18 years and being a stay at home mom for many of those. I had to learn how to navigate the world and raise my 2 children alone. I had to rebuild my life from the ground up Also working as an independent contractor inside of so many other businesses while maintaining my home practice so that I could make enough money to live. Realizing that the world is somewhat of an illusion and studying quantum physics, hermetics and spiritual teachings have really opened up my mind. I was raised in the Baptist religion so being open minded was a journey in itself. The constant learning and seeking led me to keep changing my work and how I deal with people. The challenge was to not let fear block me from progressing. Also asking people and clients to change their perception of the body and try new things was not easy because people like to live in the comfort zone and already have an idea of what that will look like when they come to a session. If I wasn’t an outgoing and trustworthy individual who is willing to push people’s boundaries many of my clients may not have been able to receive the healing that helped them transform their lives.
