Hidden Gems: Meet Megan Overholser of Massage by Meg

Today we’d like to introduce you to Megan Overholser.

Hi Megan, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started back in the class of 2010 at The Institute of Therapeutic Massage in Lima Ohio and went to work in Columbus for 10 years. Deciding to go out on my own was a huge step but wanted a change. Wanting to create my own hours so I can have a good work/home life balance while still creating great tailored massages for clients.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the challenges I still face is not bringing work home with me. still trying to find the balance. but I’m getting better

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I love to create tailored massages that are geared to each client. Whether they want a relaxation massage or more medical. Picking techniques that I have learned from over the years that will help fit them best. I pride myself in being punctual and my schedule being booked at least a month in advance. Services that I offer are Swedish,Therapeutic, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Hot Stone, Prenatal, Myofascial and Orthopedic.

What makes you happy?
My Husband and kids 100%. They are my rock in everthing I do.
I also love to read books and weightlifting.
