Hi Kadidra, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hello, my name is Kadidra Farris and I am the owner and founder of Moore Design. My foray into the construction industry commenced during my freshman year at Cincinnati State, where I enrolled in the Civil Engineering program. After completing a one-year design CO-OP at RBI Solar and receiving my civil engineering degree in construction management, I transitioned into a full-time role. I then rose through the ranks from a designer to a project manager at RBI Solar. With an eye for quality, a superior sense of style, and a client-centered approach to business, I then created Moore Design in 2022.

At Moore Design, we offer comprehensive services including 3D renderings and blueprints tailored for city permits and/or your contractors’ use. Additionally, we carefully select all necessary materials for the new design and provide them in a convenient materials package with direct purchase link making the entire process a seamless experience.

Throughout my childhood, I cultivated a passion for technology, design, and creativity through playing The Sims, a life simulation video game series published by Electronic Arts. While pursuing higher education and supporting my family, I successfully transitioned my hobby into a professional career, designing projects for corporations and residential clients. I have been married since 2017 to a dedicated community servant who has been a police officer since 2012, and we have two children, Sean and Xavier.

I enjoy dealing with unusual spaces, creating aesthetically pleasing solutions, and satisfying my customers needs. Your desires are at the heart of every decision I make for your project. I’m here to help you transform a room to increase the efficiency while blending the functional with the fabulous. Let me bring your vision to life!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Initially, my very introverted and reserved nature presented an obstacle to public speaking, inducing nervousness. Nevertheless, my early exposure to computers, beginning at age 7, allowed for an effortless shift to leveraging new software for renovation objectives. The more projects I completed, the more easier the words flowed. I am thankful for having conquered this challenge today.
