Today we’d like to introduce you to Holly Haynes.
Hi Holly, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Twenty-two years into my corporate career, I sat at my desk building business strategies for Fortune 500 companies and asked myself, “What am I doing?”
The salary was good. But I was working around the clock and missing the small, meaningful parts of my life. The dream wasn’t anything dramatic. I just wanted to pick up my twin girls from the bus every day after school.
So I gave myself 20 Mondays. That was the window I set to build a business stable and profitable enough to leave corporate. I worked in the cracks of my day, used what I already knew about strategy, and built something real. Then I put in my notice and never looked back.
Four years later, I’ve built a seven-figure business that fits around my life instead of the other way around. I’ve retired my husband. We travel as a family every quarter. And I’m there every single day for school bus pickup.
Here’s what surprised me. I built that business spending under an hour a week on social media. No daily posting, no algorithm chasing. It runs on email, search, partnerships, and smart systems instead. And when I looked around, almost everything sold to women entrepreneurs still ran on the opposite of that.
So I built Crush the Rush™ and Anti-Social School™ to teach it. Anti-Social School™ helps women land high-paying clients and scale the businesses they’ve already built, without depending on social media to do it.
Today I host The Crush the Rush™ Podcast, and I’ve helped over 1,000 women do work they love on schedules that fit their actual lives.
I’m not the coach who’ll help you manifest your dream life. I’m the strategist who builds the plan, hands you real solutions, and holds you to your biggest goals.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Smooth? No. Here’s the timeline. I started my business, and then Covid hit almost immediately. At the time, I had twin daughters in Kindergarten. Insert a phase I never want to repeat.
I joke that I’ve only ever run a business inside a crisis. A pandemic, a financial mess, or whatever you want to call the economy we’re in right now. There has never been an easy button. I have never had the calm, stable backdrop everyone says you need to grow something. So I stopped waiting for one.
The thing that got me through wasn’t a perfect plan or perfect timing. It was follow-through. I tell people I’m the most consistent person on the planet, and I mean it. I do what I say I’m going to do. And I stick with it for 90 days before I decide whether it’s working.
That’s the part most people skip. They try something for two weeks, don’t see results, and move on. You don’t get to find out if something works until you’ve actually given it 90 real days. Crisis or no crisis.
So no, it hasn’t been a smooth road. But I’m not sure a smooth one would have taught me to be this consistent.
As you know, we’re big fans of Crush the Rush. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I’m a business strategist. I help women entrepreneurs land high-paying clients and scale the businesses they’ve already built, without depending on social media to do it.
That “without social media” piece is the difference. Most marketing advice still runs on the algorithm. Post daily, chase trends, stay visible, hope it converts. I built a seven-figure business spending under an hour a week on social media, and I teach women to do the same. The strategy runs on what you actually own. Email, search, partnerships, and smart systems.
It’s called Anti-Social School™, and it’s the client attraction system built for real life. The kind with school drop-offs, full-time jobs, nap schedules, and no room for a daily posting habit. We pair a real human team with a private AI Squad. We look at the marketing you already have, find where it’s leaking leads, and help you double down on the few things actually bringing clients in.
But brand-wise, what I’m most proud of is the life-first part. And I mean that literally.
Since I left my corporate job, my family has traveled to more than 11 countries together. My girls are 12 now, and our schedule looks nothing like it did when I was working around the clock. I love that. I built the business around our life, not the other way around.
And then I get to hand that to other families. That’s the part that still gets me. Watching a woman realize she doesn’t have to be tied to what everyone else is doing. That she can build something profitable on the time she actually has.
That’s what I want your readers to know.
A profitable business doesn’t require sacrificing your life. You don’t need more hustle or more platforms. You need the right strategy for the time you actually have, and real support while you build it.
What matters most to you?
My family, first and always. They’re the reason I built the business the way I did. Time with my girls, time with my husband, time with friends without my laptop open in the background. That’s the whole point.
So that’s what matters most. Not being tied to a screen. Being present for the people I actually love.
Close behind it is the work itself. I get to do something I genuinely love, something I can honestly say brings me joy, and something that makes a difference for other women and their families. I have a job that pays well and a life I love at the same time. That’s rare, and I don’t take it for granted.
The reason it all matters so much is simple. I spent 22 years not having it. I know exactly what the other version costs, because I lived it. So now that I have a business that gives me my family, my friends, my time, and work that lights me up, I protect it. Fiercely.
