Today we’d like to introduce you to Wesley Ryan, Bob Ryan, and Ariel Faeth.
Hi Wesley, Bob, and Ariel, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
We are a group of canine enthusiasts that were formed due to a passion of performing live with our best friends. We originated in central Ohio but now have performers throughout the state including Cincinnati. We started by just trying to find an outlet for our crazy high-energy dogs that drove us nuts in our house. We found that disc (frisbee) really helped them get their energy out and promoted a strong bond. We wanted to let everyone know that if you have a difficult or high-energy dog then dog sports may be the answer.
We started in disc/frisbee and now our show includes agility, stunts, high jumps, and flyball racing. We now travel across the state to perform with our high-flying dogs promoting our passion of dog sports.
With all of that said, most importantly these dogs are our pets first and performers second.
Our training philosophy is to only use positive dog training methods and we pride ourselves on the safety of our teammates. We pride ourselves on how we train our dogs. These dogs love to work for us and they love to perform.
Performance Dogs of Ohio love to showcase, to all of Ohio, the love of our canines by offering unique, fun-filled stunt dog shows.
Our dogs come from everywhere and most of them are dogs with too much energy. We took that energy and turned them into the best entertainers in the business. These dogs love to show off!
With over 20 years of experience, we have decided to take flight, and bring a show like no one has ever seen to Ohio. We bring an enjoyable, humorous atmosphere to your event with a variety of our stellar dogs.
Our team is out of Columbus and Cincinnati Ohio but will travel to perform at your custom event.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Our greatest obstacle has been to get the word out of what our show offers and how to promote our shows. We not only bring our amazing dogs and all of their stunts but a total entertainment package. We bring music, signage and give our clients a very custom experience. It is very often that we hear, “why haven’t we heard of you guys before.”

Performance Dogs of Ohio LLC is a custom entertainment show that features flipping, flying, and jumping dogs. We wow our crowds through canine sports demonstrations and showcase our dog’s talent! Our shows offer the unique tricks with our working canines that are unique while offering tips and tricks to training your own dogs.
Our performance shows are perfectly suited for various events, as we custom make each show for each venue. No two shows are the exact same! All ages will enjoy our shows as we are super family-friendly!

Each show is tailored to the audience and venue to provide a dog stunt entertainment show that the crowd will be talking about for days to come. Field size can be fully customized to meet demands and we can work with any field surface (indoor or outside). We prefer grass but we can bring in dog-safe flooring for an additional cost.
What are your plans for the future?
The plans are to grow our shows to a nationwide audience. We want to bring in every dog sport we can think of into our show. Over the past year, we have added in several new tricks and stunts (high jump and freestyle dance). In the future, we want to add even more crazy high-energy dog sports.
