Exploring Life & Business with Madison Frisch of Everest Events

Today we’d like to introduce you to Madison Frisch.

Hi Madison, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
The pacing of my story has never had a steady tempo; that is what I love about it! For the past 7 years, I have been working in events. At first, I assisted in planning conferences, and it wasn’t until 2020 that I began in weddings. As any young adult, figuring out what I wanted to do felt so daunting. After I graduated college, I was sure I was going to work for a large corporate company in communication or marketing. After applying to over 70+ jobs, it just felt like that plan wasn’t for me. I was always passionate and determined but never felt confident enough to create something on my own. I worked for Your Perfect Day, also based in the northwest Ohio area, for about a year. This is where I found my passion for weddings and elopements. I opened Everest Events in January 2022, on the first of the year. The first half of the year was a steady growth, but once May of this year hit, everything has exploded. They aren’t kidding when they say owning your own business is a 24/7 gig. Between weddings, we host content days for creatives to come together and design a mock wedding to inspire brides in the Ohio area. It is a great way to have fun creatively while also meeting amazing creatives in the area. I am so grateful of all of the support and love from the industry and community because this is just the beginning of the story, and it has been amazing so far! Because of social media marketing, I have been able to find my ideal couples and clients from around the world. We have plans for weddings and elopements in Scotland and Switzerland; on top of the weddings we plan local to Toledo, Ohio. I am very fortunate, and I am able to officially go full-time starting this month!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Everest Events has had a steady growing process. As a company, we are fortunate to not have any notable obstacles. There are always other vendors and event planners in the area, but branding and making ourselves distinguished is just a part of the role. Overall, it has been a smooth road!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Everest Events is a wedding & elopement planning company. We specialize in non-traditional events that are tailored to the couple. We love working with the wildly in love and strive to make each event unique for the bridal couple! We travel for elopements across the country and, hopefully soon, internationally. I am most proud of our designs for our smaller wedding events. With destination elopements, design becomes art over function. With larger weddings, you are required to have a vendor team, and your decorations are functional. With a non-traditional wedding, you are able to create and design a day that reflects you as a couple–that is what we specialize in. Creating unique days that everyone deserves. We are set apart because of our love for breaking the mold and wedding traditions. We believe that everyone should have a wedding day that represents them. We offer full planning and coordination services for large weddings, micro-weddings, and elopements in the NW Ohio area and globally!

Pricing:

  • Full Wedding Planning & Coordinating: $4,900
  • Full Elopement & Coordinating: $3,100
  • Month of Coordination: $1,000
