Hi Krista, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I got started with my Marketing Company by accident. I was working for another company and two different business owners asked me if I did the job that I was doing free lance. I had never considered that, and after the 2nd person asked me – I thought this might be a great idea. I have over 20 years of Marketing/Sales/Customer Service experience and it just fit!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Well, nothing worthwhile in life is easy! I have had many struggles along the way because I learn best by making mistakes and learning a better way to do them.

I am an experienced Marketing partner for growing small businesses. I build visibility, meaningful connections and consistent growth. I am a relationship driven marketing professional known for my integrity, positivity, and genuine passion for helping others grow. At my core, I thrive on connecting people with their ideal audience and creating opportunities that go beyond surface level marketing. GEN1 Consulting helps small business owners strengthen their visibility, build authentic connections, and implement marketing strategies that truly align with who they are. My approach is never one size fits all. It is thoughtful, intentional, and rooted in building real, lasting relationships that support long term growth. I intentionally take on fewer clients so I can give each one the attention and care they deserve. I am an Army veteran and that has shaped me in many ways – to include helping me learn self-discipline and structure.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I truly care about people and love to promote a business I believe in. I have also done a lot of different things in my life and lived in other states, which helps me to be able to relate in some way to just about anyone I meet.
