Hi Brittany, Tara, and Kelsey, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Blushstone Events was founded by three sisters—Brittany, Tara, and Kelsey—born and raised in Anderson Township, Cincinnati, OH, where they still live today.
The idea for Blushstone Events came to life after Kelsey got engaged on New Year’s Eve in 2020. As Brittany and Tara began planning her bridal shower, they realized there wasn’t a local event space that fit their vision. That’s when inspiration struck—rather than settle, they decided to create the perfect venue themselves!
Blushstone Events was born out of a love for celebrations and a desire to provide a beautiful, customizable space for all of life’s special moments.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We would be lying if we said this journey hasn’t come with challenges. Like many new businesses, we’ve experienced our fair share of highs and lows—figuring out what’s possible, adapting to obstacles, and, of course, learning how to navigate the dynamics of being both co-owners and sisters. But through it all, Blushstone has evolved and grown into the business it is today.

Professionally, we are proud to share that we have over 15 years of combined experience in the wedding and event industry.
We have worked on events of all kinds—weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, celebrations of life, anniversary parties, class reunions, graduation parties—the list goes on!
As silly as it may sound, we truly LOVE planning parties and events. From family game nights and holiday gatherings to epic birthday celebrations, we’ve planned it all and enjoyed every minute of it. Our attention to detail allows us to work closely with our clients to ensure their event is exactly as they envisioned it.
Our goal when designing Blushstone Events was to create an affordable, elegant, and picture-perfect space where our clients can make lasting memories. The space is customizable to fit any vision, yet beautiful enough to require little to no additional decor.
We LOVE to celebrate—everything! Big or small, simple or elaborate, life deserves more moments of celebration. And that’s exactly where Blushstone Events comes in—to help others CELEBRATE!
