Exploring Life & Business with Brittany Rohner of The DREMR Company

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Rohner.

Brittany Rohner

Brittany, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I can hardly believe it has been almost 3.5 years since I founded the DREMR Company LLC. In October of 2020, on the heels of the pandemic, I – like so many parents – faced a decision. At the time, I was a VPHR and executive for a local distribution company in Cleveland, OH, and had two young boys who were to return to school but remotely. I made the decision to bet on myself, to do the work that I love most while raising and supporting my two wonderful boys. While the pandemic accelerated the start date, the idea of DREMR began well beforehand, over 15 years ago, when we realized that at the end of the day, we’re all human, and we do our best when we feel at our best, whether at home or at work. The DREMR Company, LLC equips organizations with the guiding tools and strategies to treat every HR challenge with compassion, fairness, and authenticity so that every employee, from top to bottom, feels valued, resulting in less turnover and an improved bottom line. Businesses need a partner who listens to their goals and provides the knowledge, vision, and determination to drive the organization forward.

My focus has been and continues to be helping companies and leaders put people at the core of their success. Whether a start-up or a 100+-year-old global business, my clients all have one thing in common… they view their people as THE MOST important asset.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I think the biggest hurdle initially was trying to define what specific areas I wanted to focus on and what my ideal client looked like. This field is so broad, and so putting myself in a “box” never felt comfortable. When someone asked me, “What is it that you actually do,” I realized I did not have a good elevator pitch, and I wasn’t particularly good at selling myself either. I have always been eager to say yes, to let my work speak for itself, to take on new challenges, and especially as I was trying to build. I learned that way has both its advantages and disadvantages. Saying “yes” to things that I later learned were not a good fit has proved to be a valuable lesson learned. It has helped me to better refine my value proposition, learn more about the work I truly want to do, and has opened doors to clients and relationships that are incredibly positive.

We’ve been impressed with The DREMR Company, LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
