Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Marketing!!! I don’t know where to begin.
My journey into the world of marketing has been a passionate pursuit of creativity and business innovation. From a very young age, I found myself captivated by the arts, particularly videography, photography, and digital marketing. My father was the first person to ever put a camera in my hands which was the introduction that would soon become something bigger than myself and do for the rest of my life. My first ever camera that I ever owned was an iPad. At the time I didn’t have the funds to purchase a professional camera but I began creating videos, fueling my desire to bring ideas to life. There is nothing more humbling than creating a video with only an iPad, but it did something for me. It showed me what was needed to get to the point where I ultimately wanted to be.
The turning point came during my freshman year at Baldwin Wallace University, where my Bus 202 class opened my eyes to the business aspect of entrepreneurship. Intrigued by the potential to craft ideas that benefit others, I embarked on a mission to develop a business plan that could make a meaningful impact. The challenge was clear – how to use a camera to create a lasting impact on the community while ensuring a high return on investment. Throughout my college career, I seen a need, a void, a disconnect between companies and their ability to touch others to connect with their products and services. My favorite saying is that a quiet business doesn’t make business. So, my goal was to find a solution to help businesses have a voice to those they serve.
Over the course of 12 years, I faced numerous trials and errors, embracing failures as part of the learning process. Despite the challenges, this journey led me to the realization that my unique approach could transform an idea into a business. Today, I am proud to share that the 18-year-old dreamer has evolved into the founder of an award-winning company, Pano Marketing Solutions. A team of creators and go-getters whose primary goal is to make the complex simple, and the ordinary extraordinary. Our focus, within digital content marketing has enabled us to assist over 50+ businesses and organizations nationwide, helping them tell their stories and effectively promote their products and services. This business will always stay true to the business model, created when I was 18 in my business class. All I ever wanted out of this was to make the “Neighborhood” look good. Pano will always be centered around the incredible individuals we work with and those we aim to serve. Our commitment is to use content as the heartbeat of our connection, linking the unfamiliar to authentic stories. It’s about weaving together ideas and communities, creating a genuine relationship that goes beyond just business – because at Pano, it’s all about the people.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This road has been everything BUT smooth.
The journey will always be more important than the destination. So, I realize that anything worth chasing with great value will never have a smooth ride to get to the final destination. Owning a business presents a good number of uphill battles that sometimes you are not always prepared for.
The thing about marketing is that it is constantly shifting with new applications, processes, and programs that are implemented daily. With new things arriving on scene every day it can become overwhelming to stay on top of trends. This has been a challenge that has not only been an obstacle but has given us an excuse to innovate. I truly believe in order to survive in the marketing field your ability to adapt is equally important to how you make decisions. Even though this has been a challenging factor to the business, finding innovative ways to solve problems has been something I’ve enjoyed. Thinking outside of the box, doing things untraditionally – being different has been a space where we like to operate.
