Daily Inspiration: Meet Ny’Asia Taylor

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ny’Asia Taylor.

Hi Ny’Asia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Ny’Asia Taylor. I’m a 27-year-old regular girl from Mansfield, Ohio. My journey started in 2012, my senior year of high school, when I received my cosmetology license. Although I had my cosmetology license, I knew that I wanted to go to college, and that’s what I did. I went to Central State University, where I obtained my bachelor’s degree in accounting. After graduating college in 2016, I worked in corporate for about 2 years and quickly realized that the lifestyle was not for me. I knew that I had a lot more to offer than to work behind a computer forever, so I chose to tap back into my passion which was hair. In February 2018, I decided to quit my corporate job and start selling hair extensions while being a full-time hairstylist. I named my first business, Lebristrap2.8. My family and friends were nervous, but I knew God had a bigger calling on my life. I did hair for about 2 years, and in March 2020, my home salon flooded. When my salon flooded, I lost everything except my sewing machine. At the time, I’d been making custom wigs w/a sewing machine for almost a year. In addition to my salon flooding, the pandemic hit. God already had a plan for me, though. Once my salon flooded, I IMMEDIATELY start making wigs full time because I had to rebuild my salon. However, with the pandemic hitting, I couldn’t take clients. Once I accepted that I could not take clients, I stopped focusing on rebuilding my salon and focused on expanding my wig-making business. This was when I begin to manifest my life. The pandemic pushed me into personal development because I was spending so much time alone while making wigs. I started to write letters to God EVERY morning, telling him exactly what I wanted out of life. My biggest goal was to make $100,000 during a pandemic. After working vigorously while pregnant the entire year, I was able to push my business to make $100,000.

This is when my life changed. Once I made $100,000 inside of my business, others started to express interest in my business techniques. At the end of 2020, I decided to retire from doing hair and be strictly a business coach and wig artist. So, I still made wigs, but I did not install them for my clients. This is when I opened Trap Academy, my online school to help other grow their businesses. While transitioning into a business coach in December 2020, I went viral on social media. However, I went viral by doing voiceovers on cooking videos. I like to refer to them as “adult entertainment.” Lol, I was doing funny messages about me and my spouse while cooking a variety of meals. I gained over 170K followers on Tik Tok and over 70K on Instagram. I did not like the fact that I was viral for something that I was not passionate about, so I immediately started to seek God for guidance.

While at a pop-up shop in June 2021, there was a lady there that was a “prophet/reader.” In our reading, she told me that I needed to connect deeper with God. She told me that I had a connection, but it was not genuine enough. That week was when I ordered my first bible, and I fell in love. Once I begin reading the bible, I started to also introduce it to my platform. My followers were a bit confused because I went from adult entertainment to spreading the word of God, but it was all a part of his plan. In November 2021, I started a ministry named “Bible & Blunts.” When I started my walk with Christ, I was a very heavy Herb smoker, and so was the majority of my followers. So, I knew the name would be catchy. I received A LOT of backlash, but I knew God’s calling over my life, and I stuck to it. So, I 100% stopped doing the adult entertainment and focused on spreading the word of God as of Jan 2022. Today I am an evangelist who no longer smokes or curse, my ministry has grown tremendously, I’ve helped people across the world both connect with God and stop their smoking habits, I am a mentor to over 40 women across the world in my mentorship 360 Wealth, and I am simply a true woman of God. I started 360 Wealth in March 2021, and we are growing ever month. I am a wife and mother of 2 amazing young boys, Charles III (4) and Champion (2), and a beautiful young lady, Kori (8). My goal is to build a legacy for my children and grandchildren, and I am on a great path. I LOVE the person God has called me to be, and I am so thankful that I trusted the process.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road, but it’s been a blessed one. Some of the struggles I experienced has been a lack of funding, people stealing inventory from my business, my home flooding, lack of support from friends/family, and self-doubt. Being an entrepreneur can be a lot on you, mentally. You just have to keep your eye on the prize, and you will make it through.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I refer to myself as a “jill of all trades” because I am talented in multiple areas. I specialize in custom-made wigs, being an evangelist, a motivation speaker, and a mentor.

I am most known for being MYSELF. My drive to stay true to myself, no matter what role I am currently in.

I am most proud of my journey with God. I love the growth that I’ve witnessed within myself throughout the last year. I purchased my Bible a year ago, and you would never know it. I’ve done so much research, taught so much about it, and built such a strong relationship with God throughout this time.

What sets me apart from others is my personality. I have a unique personality. I can make you laugh, while also helping you identify your purpose, while also selling you a product. My personality is loud, strong, but very loving and nurturing. My mentees refer to me as the “purpose puller” because as soon as I meet you, I am looking for a way to help you grow and find your purpose. It’s simply inside of me.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned along my journey is to keep God first. When you keep God first, you cannot go wrong. He knows the true purpose for your life, so if you keep him first, then you will eventually live a purposeful life. Which is the key to true joy/peace.
